The room needed a deep clean especially the carpet.

Clealiness was above par. The room was a nice size with kitchen and full size refrigerator.

I didn’t like that the water pressure was low in the shower and that the water wouldn’t drain in the tub properly while showering.

Things were clean but showing age and wear. The staff was warm and inviting. It appears that ownership's only care is about income. Next time I'll stay elsewhere even if that means staying on the other side of the Chesapeake Bay Bridge.

I understand using things as long as they work. I don't understand lack of care. Upkeep is crucial. Much of what is showing could be remedied with a can of spray paint. The refrigerator out side and inside are just rusted and worn so they look dirty. A white door should be White not stained and the freezer shelves are not just worn they were rusted. In a multi room hotel there is 1 iron and it did not heat. If you cannot have a working supply, why pretend to offer the amenity? I stepped into the bathtub and was afraid that it would open into the room below at any moment.

No coffee in the room and the coffee at the front desk wasn’t available until 8. Had to go get in the car to get coffee when McDonald’s opened at 6. other than that it was great.

Although the room was clean, there was a very strong bleach smell. We thought we’d be closer to town but it’s not too far.

Reception person was not too involved. When we and other guests entered the office we were not greeted. The person just asked our names. Just not very welcoming. The room and furniture were pretty dated. We did not plan on cooking-a good thing as kitchen was sparse for dinnerware, glasses and pots/pans.

Would Beds was queen size liked stated Flys everywhere manager called me three hours after checkout accusing me of stealing their towels charged me a 150 dollars extra which is being disputed with bank went to washroom to wash clothes there was maggots everywhere on their floor definitely a poor experience I suggest you find some where else to stay

Convenience to the highway.

We received a king size bed instead of 2 queens which I had booked in April for July. There were dead bugs under the bed. The front desk person gave us the housekeeping key card for our room because she said our key would not work. Had to get blankets for someone to sleep on the floor. Front desk advised us that they did not have any roll out beds.

Large comfortable room with open space outdoors to walk our dog. The kitchenette was useful.

The kitchenette could have been better stocked. Example - There was only one fork. Our ultimate destination was Cape Charles. This motel was out on the highway about 5 miles away.
