Size of room and bathroom--both large. Liked there was a staircase to use. Location for our purposes was excellent. A/C worked great. WiFi was excellent. Room service was pretty good (but see 'didn't like, below)--fresh towels daily which is not something many places do anymore. Staff was friendly.

The soap/shampoo/conditioner dispensers were empty or didn't work. Staff gave us a cup of each but apparently couldn't refill the dispensers (maybe the key got lost?). No hairdryer.

Widok na Manhattan z okna hotelowego jest rewelacyjny. Hotel znajduje się blisko metra. W pokoju jest czysto. Obsługa sprząta codziennie. Wszystko było bez zarzutu. Bardzo dobrze oceniam pobyt w tym hotelu.

The TV didn't work. You can listen the subway all day and all night which I guess it's out of their control. The person at the entrance (reception) didn't say hello, no greeting at all when we first arrived. The AC in the room never got cold enough. You couldn't properly close the door of the hotel room either. The first night we stayed, we could listen a Hispanic couple screaming at each other. They may have been in the room across from us. I felt very insecure in that area, even inside the hotel.

La cama, grande y comodísima, al igual que las almohadas, dos por persona. Nos cambiaban las toallas y sábanas todos los días. Pudimos descansar bastante bien, no oíamos ruidos. El metro se oye, pero a lo lejos. Además no nos pidieron fianza y nos guardaron las maletas en recepción el día de la salida porque nuestro vuelo era por la noche.

La ubicación. A pesar de que está a 3 minutos del metro, es una zona que se debe evitar. Mucha inseguridad, gente rara en las calles y la llaman la pequeña Colombia porque está llena de latinos. Algunos miembros del personal de recepcion, en concreto los chicos, desprendian poca simpatia, al contrario de las chicas, que eran agradables. Muchas veces había gente extraña en la recepción. El hotel alquila habitaciones por horas, de ahí que muchas parejas acudan allí para pasar un rato.

There wasn't a breakfast. Loved the view from my window with Manhattan in the distance. The bed was comfortable.

When I was checking out with my bag at 11:00 this morning, the elevator had failed. I and another man on the same floor had to carry our bags down nine floors. Not a fun ending to the stay. The bathroom shower stall had no shelf to put shampoo, etc. on. Had to put them on the floor. Also, there was no towel rack to put a wet towel on in the bathroom.
