Access to hospital is easy. Breakfast bar was great, staff are courteous and professional, rooms are great.
The mattress seemed extra firm snd I woke up often with a stiff back.

Breakfast was so so. Milk was spoiled due to not keeping it cold enough.
Room smelled musty. Uncomfortable chairs and couch. Bathroom shower smelled. Needs new carpet.

The room was awesome! Very spacious. Bathroom was big and nice. Very clean. Breakfast was surprisingly good. They had complimentary fountain drinks 24/7 which is super cool. The staff was awesome. Only issue I had was with my clothing iron and they brought me a brand new one in about 5 minutes! Would recommend 100% of the time!

Kimmee at the front desk checked us in - she was patient, warm, knowledgeable and professional. The room, a king studio, was spacious and clean. It felt like a grand, luxurious space - you would never guess that the hotel mostly accommodates hospital guests. The breakfast was quite nice; would have liked more tea choices but the Caribou coffee was good. The hallways are wide and well-lit, and we heard very little noise in general - from the 4th floor, we heard only truck brakes around 7 AM (window facing the roadway) but nothing prior. Overall, excellent value.
I requested a late checkout (noon rather than 11 AM), which they could not accommodate since they were booked in full for the coming night. Understandable, but a little disappointing. Also, as a traveler in the city for leisure, not for the hospital, it was a tad depressing seeing people at breakfast visiting family at the hospital or awaiting an appointment/procedure.

the location was perfect for our needs. The room was clean and comfortable. There were no noise levels to be concerned about. The staff was very friendly and helpful and very accommodating. a lovely breakfast in the morning exceeded our expectations. would certainly recommend this hotel.

Rooms were large and the free 24/7 fountain beverage drinks were a plus!
Breakfast ran out fast and had to wait for more food too cook. No waffles because they said it takes too long to make the batter.

Nice selection of food choices. Above the usual hotel choices. There were gluten free items which i I appreciate and protein items and a nice selection of fruits. Only negative was no herbal or caffeine free tea.

There is no countertop space or area to place my stuff down when checking in, a lot of noise coming from hallway and above.

The staff was very welcoming and helpful. There was evidence everywhere (e.g., beautiful living plants throughout the lobby; a selection of healthy, microwaveable meals for sale) that they had carefully thought about and responded to the needs of their guests.

I have stayed here before and love this place. Staff is friendly. The breakfast is fresh and breakfast staff is friendly and helpful. I love that they have beverages available 24-7 including hot water for tea - such a simple, but comforting amenity when you're away from home. I like the little kitchenette area in the room, so convenient and helpful. My room was clean. The bed and pillows amazingly comfortable! It's a quiet and relaxing place to stay.

I liked the fact our suite was spacious
Upon entering our room, it was dirty. I’ve never had to write a review like this. The couch was filthy and covered with stains. Stains on the pillow, the comforter and a dirty towel left in the bathroom. It was close to midnight and we were too tired to change rooms and because I booked through booking she said she couldn’t take any money off (I didn’t ask but still sucked to hear.) Only one elevator serving four floors and it took forever to get anywhere. I paid about 200 for the room and it’s quality of cleanliness was disappointing.

Very clean. Nice decor. Spacious. Good breakfast. Front desk worker was there from when we checked in at 4 pm until we came for breakfast--she somehow managed to be upbeat and friendly.
Mattress was not firm enough for me.

New hotel with great comforts in the room. The person at the front desk when we arrived was fantastic - informative and easy to converse with. I like new bathrooms and the Gunderson might be the best hotel bathroom I've experienced. Breakfast was provided and fine. Dining area was very comfortable.
The Bed was firmer than I prefer and the pillows were not good for my taste. I typically bring my own pillow but forgot this time and it affected my sleep.
