The location of the property

There was no heat or air conditioning in the unit that worked. During the day when it was warm, it was not a huge issue because we were out. But at night it was below 40 degrees and the unit was freezing. We were expected to go buy WOOD and burn it in the wood burning stove to heat the place. Yes, that is exactly what we were told to do. You can't tell me that the owners were not aware of this being broken. To subject people to this kind of treatment is terrible. It was freezing cold. Until this unit is fixed, do not stay here.

bathroom sink would not drain so we had to get ready (brush teeth, wash hands, etc) at the kitchen sink, which did not have cold water to the faucet, causing very hot water always. contacted vacasa, said they would get the local person on it, never heard from them. checked out without hearing a word from them.
