Excellent: location is the best, very spacious apartment, comfortable beds and sofas, nice living room size TV, clean kitchen, air condition nice and cold, bar area with individual fridge, private parking 1 car, water pressure good, huge balcony with amazing views, decent internet signal throughout the apartment and good selection of channels to watch TV

Bathrooms old and dated, 3rd room shower smells horrible and curtain rod rusted, kitchen fridge barely cools (needs to be replaced) but bar fridge works fantastic and it is big enough, living room table chairs are huge, bulky and not very comfortable or accommodating, we found cigarette buds around the balcony

The property itself was very nice and clean. Great location, with beach access. The staff was nice and helpful when questions were asked. The condo was nice as well and clean. The kitchen fridge wouldn’t cool, so that was a bit of a problem. There was a second smaller one available in the wet bar that worked fine. There also was a foul oder anything the washer, dish washer and master shower came on. It would stink up the master bedroom and hall way. Other than those small issues. We had a great stay.

The condo felt comfortable and relaxing. The beds and furniture were comfy. The kitchen was well stocked. The owners obviously want people to enjoy their stay! The view was great. The pool area and walkway to the beach were well maintained. Loved the family freindly environment of Ocean Vista and South Padre.

Sliding doors were hard to open. Raised ledge on patio tripped someone.

Only that it was close to the beach and had a nice view.

Management was horrible. The condo was extremely outdated, the couches were ragged, and the refrigerator leaked water. The bed sheets and blankets were old, uncomfortable, itchy, and did not smell freshly washed. We were afraid to use the towels so I washed them. The restroom floors, showers, beds, and sinks had hair and god knows what else. There were signs posted throughout the condo threatening to charge us if we messed with certain things. For example to fridge temperature, The owners personal closet, and don’t scrape the walls. I felt like I was being scolded by my grandma every time I saw them. The A/C wasn’t cooling properly and when we complained about it we didn’t get a tech for many hours. Apparently they knew about it as they have had the issue before according to the A/C tech. When we talked to customer service at Vacasa they tried looking for another room to move us. They wanted to downgrade our stay to a two bedroom when we had looked so hard for a three bedroom. No way!!! Vacasa then found us another unit. We packed our stuff and moved to it only after opening the door and walking inside realized it was occupied. Mind you this is SOUTH TEXAS where almost everyone carries a gun. Imagine if the tenants had been there when we walked in! Worst case I would be on the news. Intruder shot! For a whole day our personal belongings were on a luggage cart. So inconvenient and ruined our weekend trip. My birthday weekend we spent more time moving around than relaxing even after securing the condo over two weeks before. When I reached out to the condo management to ask for a second permit to park he said they didn’t do that. Who in the world has a vehicle large enough to pack ten people plus their luggage. The condo we rented was also for our guests. They had to park along the street for fear of being towed and the whole time we were there, there were over 40 parking spots available.
