This magical little space is in a charming village, with an incredible view from the main room and balcony. Waking up to the morning sun rising over the water was beautiful! We really appreciated the simple decor of the place, all the basic kitchen essentials, and having access to the balcony. We even took advantage of the public barbecue in the parking lot down at the bottom of the village to grill up some fresh fish that we bought from the stand just beside the parking lot. There's so much to explore in this area!

The view. Peace and quiet. Bikes and cycling. Bages itself. Wildlife. Flamingos. Le Portanel restaurants. Narbonne is well worth a visit.

Slippery stairs. No welcome pack such as bottle of wine and water. Bages is somewhat closed on a Sunday. Found out bike location by luck when walking around and met Nathalie and asked her.

Bages is a beautiful little village, very tranquil and picturesque.The apartment is very simple but it has a large balcony overlooking the rooftops to the water which is the perfect spot for breakfast and that evening glass of wine. We enjoyed exploring the area on the bikes that were provided. Thank you. It is a great placed we enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to others.

It would have been helpful to have had some information/directions in advance about parking and how to reach the apartment (you have to park on the edge of the village and then walk up through the streets, don't worry it is only a short walk) as the lovely lady we were told to telephone just before we reached the village didn't speak any english. Luckily we speak some french.
