I like everything
I had a very warm welcome as soon I arrived.
The place is amazing .it was like loving in a fary tale. Beautiful garden with a pool.
The cottage is amazing . Clean,warm, and loved my stay so much . The cottage is just next to Nene river . With ducks and swans.
What not to like .!!!
I will definetely come back !!!

I loved the personal touch, a face to face meeting when collecting the keys. We were shown round the cottage and gardens when we arrived which was lovely. It was like a home from home straight away, so welcoming and comfy. By the third night we sat in the garden with Stephen and Philip watching the sunset and having a glass of wine it was fabulous! Me, my husband and my son felt like we had known them for years. Although we were there on a business trip we left very much relaxed and refreshed. The cottage, the gardens and the hosts are 10 out of 10. I highly recommend staying at River Nene Cottages and we can't wait to return!

This glorious cottage and its bucolic setting is beyond words. The interior is exquisite, the attention to detail perfect, the hosts friendly and ever helpful and the surroundings sublime. We have stayed in cottages in Britain, Australia and New Zealand but this has to be the best.

The location is great for a quiet stay and go around the surrounding area. The bed is conformable. The cottage is beautiful.
The floor is a bit squeaky. There is little natural light perhaps due to the nature of cottage.

Comfortable sofa and bed and great shower. Excellent gardens to main house and walks from the doorstep. Outdoor pool. Shame we didn't use it.
The dark carpet on the stairs made it difficult to distinguish the steps particularly where the steps turn. We both tripped on the stairs. The window in the second bedroom needs some sort of blind / curtain.

Lovely surroundings in an idyllic and peaceful location. Children loved the swimming pool and playing football in the garden. Parents loved relaxing by the pool and sitting in the garden with a glass of wine and nibbles. Succeeded in having the much needed holiday we hoped for and better. Fantastic hosts (including Misha who was the perfect meet and greeter 🐾) Stephen and Phillip were always available if needed but not too intrusive so as to allow us to experience much needed quality family time together in an ambient and stunning setting. Very impressed and would recommend to other families. 😁

Idyllic setting and loved all the quirky bits. Great walk along the river, fun by the pool, cute vintage boat and relaxing gardens. Loved the cottage. Fab hosts too!
I didn’t like the fact that I didn’t book longer! Nothing really - loved every minute!
