Parapara Beach Escape
Questo è un luogo perfetto per godersi una vacanza al Golden Bay - So che, anche vivendo lì, è fantastico !! Questa zona offre non solo una spiaggia balneabile sicura con le vongole da raccogliere, ma anche l'impressionante vita degli uccelli, la pesca e le passeggiate. Utilizzare i kayak e le canne da pesca fornite. Situato a pochi minuti da Collingwood, dove troverete un distributore di benzina, caffetteria, negozio e pub. Questo lato del nostro mondo offre la splendida spiaggia di Wharaiki, passeggiate a cavallo, animali selvatici, tour ecologici, una selezione di caffè oltre a calpestare la pista Heaphy.
La cittadina di Takaka è a soli 15 minuti di distanza, sulla strada è The Mussel Inn e Pupu Springs. In città puoi goderti un po 'di terapia al dettaglio, caffè e solo pochi minuti da altre attrazioni come Anatoki Salmon.
Da Takaka, a 10 minuti in auto, potrete raggiungere le famose spiagge di sabbia dorata di Ligar Bay e Tata Beach. Pohara Beach ha anche caffè e un emporio.

Great location and good size central living areas for larger groups. The downstairs sleeping area is cold and quite damp, if staying in winter I would take an extra electric heater. Lots of leisure gear available for use which is great (kayaks, body boards, cricket gear, fishing gear).

Four generations of our whanau stayed to scatter my husbands ashes at the whanau urupa, The house was perfect for us and we got to know the grandchildrens partners. Thank you for such a lovely house in such good condition.

Awesome property great layout plenty of everything well stocked kitchen amenities with great outlook. My only criticism would be the beds although plentiful not particularly comfortable

Our only issue was with the very uncomfortable beds downstairs. Prob fine for children, but not adults. Might be better to be clearer about this in ads. Plus downstairs roons beed hooks on doors. Upstairs beds cery comfortable

Wonderful family holiday home
Wonderful place for an NZ winter family break. Great holiday home, right by the beach, good heating, lots of games to play indoors, and lots to do in the local area. Ages 7 to 73 loved it.

Location can't be beat
Paradise on the beach. Nothing to do but relax and enjoy the surroundings. Get supplies before you get there and then you'll never have to leave.

Upstairs is great, downstairs more basic
The upstairs (with 2 comfortable bedrooms and bathroom) is lovely for 4 people. Well equipped, comfortable, spacious and in a glorious setting. Downstairs (3 bedrooms) is a converted basement with some cold and dampness issues. Would probably be fine in summer. It was great to have the use of kayaks which we enjoyed very much.

Sunny, spacious & well-equiped
We highly recommend this bach for your next holiday in Golden Bay. With five bedrooms and a huge, sunny, open-plan living room there is plenty of space for everyone to relax. While the downstairs bedrooms are a bit 'basementy' and shady, they are perfect to house teenagers, with their own bathroom and a pool table/ dartboard combo to keep everyone amused.
We were really impressed with the warm sunny upstairs space and the well-appointed kitchen, loads of board games, kayaks and lifejackets, BBQ etc: this place has the feel of a real family bach and we want to thank the owners for sharing their special place with us. We hope to return for another stay sometime!

Fantastic time
We loved our stay in Parapara though we were initially surprised that the downstairs bedrooms were only accessed from outside. Our three little kids coped fine though with this so all good in the end. Loved the snooker and darts and all the board games and the kayaks. Would definitely stay again.

Great location.
Parapara is a great location for exploring Golden Bay. The living and 2 bedrooms upstairs are comfortable and modern. The 3 bedrooms downstairs are very basic. There is also a water pump downstairs which is quite noisy. The rumpus room with pool table and darts was very popular with our kids.

The perfect holiday house
We loved our stay at this beach house; a real summer house with lots of history. The house is perfectly suited for small children as it is fenced on the main deck; we loved using the kayaks, BBQ and other toys. You are just a few metres from the beach and a playground. Kitchen was well equipped, also lots of board games and book. Would love to come back and stay longer.

The downstairs level containing 3 bedrooms and a bathroom and toilet is a bit more basi, but is practical, clean and tidy and contains a pool table and dart board to keep the family entertained.Location is ideal - just a short walk across the road from the beautiful Parapara Beach. Lots of local tuis to provide nice background ambience.One of the biggest appeals of this place is the use of the kayaks. Our family spent lots of time kayaking and fishing in the waters off Parapara Beach, which was a real highlight.The only improvement suggestion would be to have a dryer onsite to help dry the family washing during the rainy days - although the fire & clotheshorse works well when outside temperature isn’t too warm.

Parapara has been a popular destination for our family since the 1980s and now the third generation was introduced to its charms. The safe beach, playground, and relaxed atmosphere are unchanged. The house was ideal for accommodating us all and we had enough space to spread out.
