La zona giorno è ampia grazie all'ampio soggiorno e alla cucina, che si aprono da un lato sul ponte e dall'altro sul portico anteriore con le classiche sedie a dondolo. Con ripiani in noce dal taglio vivo, mobili su misura, scaffali aperti ed elettrodomestici in acciaio inossidabile, questa cucina dal design unico consente una cucina intima o un intrattenimento aperto. Il soggiorno / sala da pranzo dispone di un grande tavolo per sei e una confortevole area salotto con un divano letto da sogno (che si gonfia elettricamente in un letto matrimoniale molto comodo). Un mezzo bagno e il grande ponte completano il primo piano. Salite le scale per le due camere da letto con i loro angoli unici e soffitti alti, The Master ha un letto matrimoniale, un cassettone e un armadio su misura. We love this house! House is off the beaten path and very private, but beaches are still just minutes away. Outdoor shower was amazing. So cute. Everything well thought out including a garden hose right next to the front porch to rinse off any beach sand. We will be back!

We had high hopes for this trip, and The Hideaway exceeded all of our expectations. The property was exactly what we needed. Secluded and quiet with all of the amenities. Our daughter loved playing on the playground, the grill was used daily, and we never showered inside because why would you when there’s an outdoor shower? Between mornings at Blue Shutters, cups of Del’s on the beach, ice cream at Brickley’s, clam cakes and chowder at Iggy’s and Monahan’s, we checked off every box for a perfect trip to southern Rhode Island. Thank you Katrina for being a wonderful host. We hope to visit the Hideaway again in the future.

The hideaway was the perfect spot for us for a travel sports weekend. It was cozy and clean and had all the amenities we needed. My kids loved the outdoor shower! We would definitely go back.

We had a wonderful stay at the Hideaway. It’s so private but so close to beaches and restaurants. The beach pass that is provided is a big plus. The house itself is really cool and the grounds are beautiful. Hope to be back soon

With the bonus of near perfect weather during our stay, we thoroughly enjoyed the “hideaway,” a unique home set in a very lovely space with outdoor seating, yard, woodland-like borders and a short drive from the beaches. Kitchen has what u need and the beds/room can easily accommodate a smallish family. All the windows make it feel bigger than it is. The house did have a noticeable sot smell, maybe someone used the fireplace before us? But it wasn’t unbearable. we’d gladly stay here again.

What an amazing property! Accurately named the Hideaway, we felt like we were far from civilization nestled in the woods. We were actually minutes away from everywhere we wanted to visit. Perfect central location! The beautiful well maintained house had everything we needed and was comfy and cozy. The grounds were beautiful and our pup loved it too! Thank you for sharing your lovely home with us, we hated leaving!

This was my first time exploring the beautiful state of Rhode Island and the location and property were perfect. Perfect space, nice amenities available to use, ample property to explore. The visit was perfect! Thank you for sharing your property with us, I would visit again.

Photos just do do this property justice, it is beautiful, quiet, and very private. Katrina was wonderful and our stay was so much better than we hoped. The driveway is long, steep, and gravel, but well maintained so take care if you have a very low car. Our AWD SUV never slipped a tire even on a heavy rain day so just be aware and don't let this cause you to miss out on this hidden gem. Can't wait to come back.

This home is in a great location to visit RI any time of the year. While we stayed in the fall, we were still able to enjoy the local restaurants and the shoreline. The uniqueness of the home added to the enjoyment of our stay. We thoroughly enjoyed the peace and quiet and the trails in the woods on the property. The owner was very communicative and helpful with any questions we had. Highly recommend this home for an amazing stay in South County RI any time of the year.

We really enjoyed our time at this property. The house and grounds are exactly like the pictures. The property feels very private, but is literally a 2 minute drive to restaurants and stores. Katrina was easily accessible before and during the visit, so everything ran smoothly. I also want to note (because this is a pet peeve for me) that there were plenty of supplies, like paper products and hand soap, and the kitchen was nicely stocked. We loved our stay and would be happy to go back!

Such an amazing property! The location is perfect, tucked away in the trees, so quiet and peaceful! The Hideaway is a a beautiful and unique house! Very comfortable and homey, a great base to see the surrounding area and entertain family.

Perfect retreat from daily life with all the amenities of home. The hideaway is a special place tucked away to provide privacy for your guests but access to the local attractions, beaches, clam shacks, coastal towns of South County. My children are grown but the hideaway is perfect for little children and big ones alike. The must try feature of the house is the outdoor shower that is a nice little oasis surrounded by nature. Hopefully we will return to make more memories as a family.

We loved staying at this house. It was the perfect location and super comfortable! 10 minutes from the beach. The outdoor shower was amazing! The home owners have a really nice book collections for young kids that we put to good use!

Stayed here with my husband to explore the area. The house is so cool- beautiful outdoor eating area, great deck, fire pit. Close to all the beaches. So secluded- just the sound of the birds. This is a real respite from the daily grind. It would be a bit tight for more than 3 people, but my daughter visited for a night and it was fine. Could benefit from another shelf or two in upstairs bathroom, but this would be my only suggestion! We loved our stay, as did our pup.

Everything about this property is magical. The house, yard, location... It provides great privacy and yet it is close to town, beaches, stores.
Katrina was responsive and was making sure we are okay when it started snowing. We had summer tires on our car (just moved to the east coast from CA) and couldn't go up the driveway, so her father came immediately and poured some sand on the road for better traction. Thank you Tom.
I would definitely recommend this for a vacation. As a matter of fact, we will be coming here in the future for sure.

This home was truly perfect! My partner and I came here for a few days with our dog and could not have been happier. The house was bright, beautiful, and well equipped. It was located close to town but still felt private. The five-acre property was great to let our dog run around, and although the yard isn't fenced, it felt safe from cars. The house itself is filled with unique charm and the architecture alone is with the stay! Although it was just my partner and me, the house was situated in a way where it didn't feel too huge for just the two of us. That being said, there was a large basement area and I am sure a larger family would fit well too! The beach was a close drive and the nearby towns were really peaceful to explore during the off-season. I absolutely couldn't recommend this place enough!

We had a fabulous time, getting away for several days for my husband’s birthday!
The house is stunning & most welcoming. We didn’t want to leave!
We, especially, loved the views from the beautiful windows both downstairs in the living room, and upstairs in the master bedroom. It was a special treat to see the snow fall one day when we were there, and see the trees & the woods with a coating of snow.
We look forward to our next trip back to a most relaxing, comfortable and beautiful hideaway.

We had a lovely stay at Katrina’s home in Charlestown. The house was so cozy. Loved the yard and overall property. Very peaceful. Katrina was wonderful to work with as well. Always responded very quickly to any of our questions. Great location too. I would highly recommend this property.

The house is not only architecturally interesting, it's comfortable and welcoming. The yard is spacious and includes a picnic table and fire pit to enjoy the fabulous fall weather. The kitchen and outdoor grill provided all we needed for our meals. We enjoyed the local hikes, walks on the beach, ambles in Newport and a day at Fort Wetherill State Park. Then back to the house for cooking and hunkering. We hope to come back soon!

We had a great experience staying at this wonderful house. The house was just what we needed for a family of 4, the location is great and it’s the cleanest vacation rental I’ve ever been in! The only thing I would say is that it is a drag to have to bring your own sheets and towels which take up a lot of precious luggage space and to get there to have to make beds, but it’s a minor inconvenience. We definitely hope to stay here again next summer again!

I have rented many homes in the Narragansett and Newport area as my daughter is a student at URI and we have moved her into and out of her rental properties in the area. This is by far my favorite! As you climb a beautifully forested hill you get a beautiful view of this architectural beauty. The house, the landscaping, the interior are so very tasteful, the amenities and location convenient. My Mom and I wished we had brought our binoculars as we awoke every morning to the chirping of the birds and the colors of the landscape. Katrina is a wonderful host, thank you, Katrina!

What a remarkably peaceful, comfortable, and beautiful home! The location is superb, the gardens calming, and the porches delightful. We enjoyed every minute of our stay. The house may be a bit small for more than 2 adults, but it was perfect for the two of us and our pup. We highly recommend.

We had a wonderful time at the Hideaway! We loved the secluded area, enjoyed tea on the porch while listening to the birds each morning, and our daughter loved the playground. Kitchen was well equipped to eat in, and plenty of great takeout options nearby. Short drives to beaches and parks. Definitely check out the Fantastic Umbrella Factory! We had a relaxing and peaceful stay. Katrina was great and quick to reply to questions.
