Hotel is close to the Autobahn and a bus station. Room had a good size and comfortable bed.

Facilities showed quite some marks of usage.

Really easy to find (by car) on the way into the City. Very clean, and cosy with nice bathroom, good wifi etc. Note that early part of the week the restaurant and bar are not open in the evening - but a useful honesty bar is available to guests. Owners friendly and welcoming when we saw them.

There was no information about how to get into city by public transport, bus numbers, ticketing etc. City centre is a few KM away so a long walk (we did it) but there is a good public transport offer virtually to front door. Given the beautiful town and great beer, public transport also the sensible option! Laminated card (hygienic) or similar in the room showing public transport options would give us an idea. As it was we got caught out by the switch from day to night bus timetables - and had to work it out by asking locals.

The room is very minimal in style, simple and clean, bed is great, bathroom great. Just what you need. Location near the park is really nice.

The room was clean, big and with all needed amenities for a stay.

No one was responding to my messages via Booking and phone number provided on Booking. Once we arrived in the evening we saw a note to call some specific number for a check in. The person explained how to use a key box for a self check in.

Excellent location for bicycling.

We needed an overnight in Bamberg and chose this hotel due to its location to the Altstadt. It was small and clean, simple for our needs. The parking was very easy with a location on site and it was free. They had an efficient system to obtain our key after normal hours when we arrived, we called the host who gave us a code to the lockbox outside the building.

Due to our lack of German, we didn't ask for more at breakfast and we given brotchen, meat and cheese with coffee. We saw later that we could have had eggs, but this was unclear to us. It might be nice to have some written instructions with available options. This was on us, but we didn't know to ask.

The receptionist was very kind, the breakfast correct, fried/scrambled eggs made fresh, very good breakfast. Clean rooms and bathrooms.

No elevator, the restaurant closes at 10, not even a coffee or water after this hour which is not very comfortable given that the hotel is in a residential erea, no shops around. The parking is free, but it serves the park and sports fields next to the hotel, and it was full when we arrived.

Friendly staff, stores 5 minute walk, just 2 minutes from the Autobahn, quiet, plenty of free parking spaces, ok breakfast, ok pricing

The pillows were to big and fluffy, I couldn't sleep on them, was terrible for me. My wife slept ok. The bathroom doesn't have it's own window, just the sliding door to the room. Other than that, everything was very good. If I had brought my own pillow, it would have been 5/5
