Die Lage und das ganze Anwesen sind super schön, sehr gepflegt und angenehm ruhig. Das Personal ist total nett und immer hilfsbereit. Wir hatten bereits vor Antritt der Reise Empfehlungen für Restaurants und Ausflüge erhalten. Die ganze Atmosphäre war sehr familiär und entspannt. Und nicht zu vergessen: das gemeinsame Abendessen mit den anderen Gästen. Die Küche war top!

There is nothing one would not like. The highest standard of hospitality in a fabulous location.

There was no set breakfast selection. One had to let the owner know what they wish to eat and meagre portions and variety were provided of low quality. Only cereal; dry bread and some fruit were available besides tea and coffee. No pastries at all. Breakfast was not the normal holiday experience.

The furniture was very basic and dated. The armchairs were very uncomfortable and there was no fridge or safe deposit locker in the room. The curtains were not black out curtains and made of sack cloth. There was never anyone available at reception if you needed anything after breakfast. You only saw staff during breakfast.

Perfect location to explore Eastern Algarve and its famous beaches. Easy access, good parking facilities, and only 2 minutes from beautiful and quaint Tavira with its wonderful restaurants. With all this on your doorstep you also enjoy the peace of being away in the comforts and quietness of a farm environment. The suite room is well worth it: very spacious, private and with the most delightful terrace with sea views. Very friendly staff (kind and sweet Ana) and owner Rosario, delicious breakfast with the home made jams and yogurt, cake... We loved our week at Monte do Alamo, would highly recommend and will be back!

Amazing place! Wonderful farmhouse experience! First of all the surroundings, the garden and the view over Tavira are gorgeous. The house itself is big and cozy at the same time, rooms are spacious with a proper king size bed, large bathroom and a terrace, common lounge room is great place not only for meals but for chilling purposes comes also with a great view! And last but not least - the service was warm and professional at the same time, breakfast is great, lunch meal Ines prepared was simplicity at it’s best! It was unfortunate that I did not stay here when they do full dinners and cooking classes as I imagine those are brilliant as well.. but then I will be back;) Thanks for amazing albeit short stay this time! p.s. house pups were pawsome too! 🐾🐾

Lovely converted old farmhouse with charming hosts. Excellent breakfast. Nice view over Tavira. Ines offers cooking classes. We learned how to cook an octopus cataplana, a typical dish from the region

Outside you can hear the sound of the Tavira bypass from the distance. We did not find that it lowered our enjoyment of the place. In return the property is close enough that while you are in the county you can walk into Tavira.

We had a great stay at Monte Do Alamo. The room was perfect and the breakfasts wonderful. The owners were very accommodating and we enjoyed two dinners in the evening with amazing food. The location is close to Tavira, and close to the roads leading the beaches in the area. Definitely recommend!
