Good value for money, comfy room in a calm location (monastery).

The place's kind approach that i already filtered for including private bathroom, booming.com gave me options obviously mixed so i chose it, the place accepted to cancel other 2 nights as i only stayed 1 night and booked somewhere else via booking.com again, and they even have written consent for it, booking.com does not take action or even reply my e-mails!

I didn't realise when I booked that Maria Hilf was an active Convent. I enjoyed seeing the sisters and attending worship with them.

Pleasant welcome and atmosphere, clean rooms and facilities

Very very clean! Breakfast was good. Room was quiet. Slept great.

Only 1 spoon in kitchen area. Pillows were a bit uncomfortable...could have used 1 or 2 more. Shower leaked on floor.

It was a beautiful property in a very peaceful setting. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious. The price was excellent.

The shared shower could have used a clean. There was a lot of dust and cobwebs. The bed was very creaky.

Extremely peaceful and attractive setting and the breakfast buffet is wonderful. The rotating electric shoe polisher is a must.

We have stayed several times at the Kloster. It is the first time the shared toilet facilities close to our room have been unpleasant.

The kloster Maria Hilf is a fantastic location and facility in Bühl. And one thing first. Don't book through booking.com. The room costs with directly booking 36€ and booking took 53€!!! Booking.com said the room is about 18 kvm, but in reality it was perhaps half this size. The staff is nice and friendly. The food is good. The bell ringing are quiet during the night like the fountain in the courtyard. We choosed 2 single rooms with shared bathroom and shower. There were about 2 toilets for many people. The rooms were really tiny and the furnishings clean but aged. There was a thick duvet for the bed. It seems the rooms were used for sick care back in time. Beneath our floor lived the sick and old sisters. And during the night two of them (obviously dementia) called loudly after help and after their mom through the open windows, in hours. Even with earplugs their voices went through. I couldn't sleep, neither did my daughter. In the end we decided to close the windows (at 3 AM). Thereafter, the rooms got very hot with the morning sun and no input for air. It was a very bad night. I would recommend you all to ask for the comfort rooms in another building without these problems. It will cost 60€, it would be worth it. The location is fantastic.

Booking.com shows not the right size of the rooms on the website. 18 m2 instead of perhaps 9-10. Booking took a very high provision, 47%!! It wasn't possible to have the windows open during the night because of the sick sisters calling loudly during the night. With closed windows the room got too warm and no ventilation. The duvet was too warm for the season. No possibility for reclamation in the morning. The staff said we were the first guests being disturbed by the sisters. I can't believe that.

The professionalism and relaxed friendliness of the staff. The home-baked bread. The premium - quality tea sachets. You'll have no problems getting a good night sleep here !

An option for supper in evening was announced, but I did not see that I had to book supper by noon the same day, so I could not have supper that evening.

Sehr schöne Lage. I appreciated that the parking was closed, the green area, the clean room, the kind receptionist, the price, etc.

The receptionist was very friendly and really helpful. The property was well maintained and clean.
