The room was very clean and comfortable. We did not eat dinner in the restaurant, but thoroughly enjoyed breakfast, which was tasty and cooked to order. The owners are very friendly and welcoming. We will definitely be returning and can not praise highly enough. The location is excellent in its proximity to Eastbourne, South Downs, High Weald, and National Trust places to visit, which was important to us.

I was staying here with a group from The Netherlands and the location was a stones throw from the South of Englands hedgelaying competition. The food was home made and fantastic.

The owners were very direct with their requirements which left little room for flexibility although between us we all managed to work things out. The mattress on our bed was very soft and my partner and I rolled together making sleeping difficult. The bathroom and in particular the shower cubical were really a bit too small for manoeuvre.
