Very comfortable room, friendly staff. Excellent breakfasts

Another chair in room would be good but window seat compensated for this.

This is a fabulous Inn in an interesting village by the sea. The room was very comfortable with a great view of the historic almshouses. The food and drink served was fantastic and the service was exceptional.

Location was good breakfast was excellent as was evening meal. Staff were friendly helpful and efficient.

The bathroom had no frosted/opaque window which was visible from the outside seating area so obvious lack of privacy. Shower had no wall bracket and no screen/curtain to stop water spraying on to the floor - made taking a shower difficult and slip hazard on the floor.

Lovely comfortable room with ensuite with a bath and very good food. The breakfast choices were great with some nice healthy options as well as a full English We enjoyed being able to walk by the sea. It was out of season, so very peaceful.

It's a bit picky but the room was quite hot even when we turned off the heating and the duvet was very thick. The evening meal wasn't cheap, but it was high quality restaurant food with interesting choices We'd recommend this place and definitely go back

This was a truly exceptional place to stay. The staff were absolutely wonderful - nothing was too much trouble and they were ALL so friendly. The room was lovely, with a large double bed and many thoughtful additions. The breakfasts and evening meals were delicious on all 3 days of our stay, and the inn was vibrant, with a lovely atmosphere.

Lovely place to escape to for a couple of days away. Beautiful location, quiet and if you want plenty of walks available. The staff were welcoming and friendly and the Inn has a lovely atmosphere. Our room was good but would be helpful if it had a walk in shower.

It would have been better if there was a walk in shower. There are fresh fish and seafood shops selling locally caught fish and seafood and it runs right behind the high street providing a good selection of shops for anything you might need.

This is a great location for a short break by the sea - especially off-peak. It was a lovely, warm, comfortable and quiet place to come back to after a winter walk. Comfortable bed with great pillows! Cooked breakfast was great - fresh, quality and unusually well presented. Good coffee too, which makes a big difference.

The breakfast was amazing the room was amazing and the bed was very comfy and would stay there again and recommend it to friends

Nothing really to dislike. Room had hand held shower but actually using and relaxing. In the bath was really enjoyable .
