The beach was great and easy to get to. The room was clean and beautifully decorated. The beds were squeaky and old. We couldn't use the pool because they didn't leave the wristbands. I called two days but they never left them. Very disappointing.

This was a great condo at a reasonable price. It is conveniently located next to the Holiday Inn Beach Resort at the south end of SPI, where I had an event. And, there is easy access to the beach. The condo was pretty clean and nicely decorated. There is a separate bedroom with two beds, plus the couch has a fold out (although not the most comfortable). It was very useful to have the full kitchen. Although the utensils may not all match and the pots and pans had signs of some use, this is what I expect of a beach condo. Growing up in a family that had a shared summer cottage, it got the old, hand-me-down items from plates to blankets...and this condo reminded me of that. No complaints for the price. If someone wants high end accommodations, there are plenty of places at SPI where one can pay a high end price.

We enjoyed our stay overall. The living area was great. The pool area was well maintained and enjoyable. Kitchen area and bath was fine.
Unfortunately, the beds were not good. I had a very hard time trying to sleep because the mattresses were probably old. My husband and I sunk toward the center of the bed and when we moved springs made sounds.

Would not recommend kinda a ****** place, smelly, old and not updated ( owner’s fault) , furniture was outdated ( owners fault) no grab rails in tub shower, ( owner’s fault) just a total musty smell that doesn’t seem to go away, utensils, bowls, plates, all should be thrown out and start over with new, we’ve seen a lot of nice units but this unit needs work, kinda got caught off guard to find out unit is for sale and never was told ( Rentonpadres ) fault

Not bad better than last year although this unit (206) gulfview 2 could use some upgrades, of course owners don’t like to spend money, but I see it differently, it’s an investment! Small things like hand rails for seniors getting in/out of shower would help us . It was clean which is huge for renters like us, we’re not picky comforts of home makes it feel like home for 2 months, we were a little disappointed in kitchen area with non matching plates, silverware and cooking utensils to much mix and match. What does it take to match? Everyone is different and I understand it, it was a great 2 months and looking forward to 2024 !

Great little place to stay! It was very clean and there were plenty of towels provided. We ate out the whole time, so didn’t really test out the kitchen appliances. Plenty of places to eat nearby. Just a short walk to the beach, we even saw a sea turtle swim by out on the jetties. The location is great, would definitely stay here again.

I had a groups of six, ages 3, 5, 9, 19, 32, and 38. The location wasn't right on the beach but it is right across the parking lot, making the commute back and forth fairly easy. It is literally right next door to the new beach park water.
Overall great experience, great location and we will definitely be back!

The property manager Melissa was fantastic and provided us with many helpful things to do and see. The condo is a close walk to the beach and had everything we needed and way cheaper than a hotel. We had a great stay.

Great location
The condo was in a great location. The pool was nice and the hours were great. The kitchen and bathroom don’t appear to have been updated in a while. The beds creaked and made noises every time we moved in bed. The ceiling in the living room needed to be repaired due to what appeared to be a leak.

Cool place
Make sure you wear a wrist band! They are very strict about that and we got kicked out of the pool area because the manager forgot to leave us our bands. Had to wait till later that night/next day to get them. The condo was clean, great pool area to hang out. Ted on the staff was a cool dude, he brought us homemade tacos. Great places to eat and drink everywhere. No dishwasher though.

Overall the property was good. Has a huge pool which is a big plus, also has bbq pits in the area with picnic tables. The only thing that was not so good was that the beds had wheels and they'd move when you get on them.

This was just what we needed. What a great place. We had so much fun on our stay. Pool is shared with the building next door. We were close to the beach, near Mahi Nic & Sea Ranch. A couple nice places to eat at the nearby hotel too. The place was clean. Kitchen was a bit outdated, but we weren't eating in anyway. It would be fine for the basics. We plan to come back!

Rent On Padre addressed some of our concerns immediately. The unit was fine for two people but because the bathroom is so small and with only one bedroom with two full-size beds. We never had the proper size sheets for the beds. I purchased one set of full sheets which I kept. The unit lacked good lighting and end tables for reading. We were pleased with the location of the laundry and elevator.

Such a cute place. It was really close to the beach. there is a nice beach restaurant at the nearby hotels and Mahi Nic by the marina. I appreciated how clean this place was.

This was our first stay in a condo instead of a hotel. We loved it. We could put the kids to bed and go into the living room and still watch TV. After being at the pool or beach, we could have a sandwich in the condo and didn't always have to eat out. This place was great. It was clean and that is really important to us.

This condo is a very quaint location just off the beach in South Padre Island. I loved the location due to the lack of tourist traffic. Most everything in the condo worked fine and the rental staff were only a phone call away. I especially appreciated the large capacity carts available to carry luggage to your condo from the parking lot.

We really enjoyed the location and easy access to the beach. I wish someone had told us that the water was being shut off at the property the day we arrived. Luckily there was a maintenance man Curtis that gave us a bucket of water to flush the toilets. The paperwork said there was a dishwasher and we had to buy some dishwasher tablets ,which I did and there was none. I also had to wash your towels so we had enough/

It’s not the Ritz, but the value can’t be beat. Very responsive host. Easy on/off bridge access. Ample parking. Good beach in easy walking distance.

We loved this place. Nice Living room to relax. Rent On Padre was awesome to work with. Beach was a short walk. We enjoyed the restaurants nearby. Mahi Nics, Pier 19 and the one at the hotel on the beach. I don't think we moved the car once during our stay.

Great place. All of our plans were at the south end of the island. This was cheaper than the neighboring hotels and bigger too. The only thing we didn't like was the 2 full size beds, but we made it work. It was close to the fishing trips and dolphin watches, as well as the water park. It did what it needed to do which was a place to lay our head after we exhausted ourselves playing on and in the water. We loved Rent On Padre. We had one little problem and they sent maintenance right away!

My daughter and I had a great time in South Padre. It was just a short walk across the parking lot to get to the beach. We will definitely come back soon!

Great place. We enjoyed being on SPI and staying with Rent On Padre. The place was small, but definitely bigger than a hotel room. Beach wasn't very far. It was just off the bridge and easy to find. We will be back.

What a wonderful gem. It is really close to some wonderful restaurants like Pier 19, the ones at beach resort and the pearl. My stay was perfect. We will be contacting Rent on Padre again for our next stay.
