El personal muy majo y dispuesto a ayudar en todo, el spa es una maravilla y la posada donde pasamos la noche es muy acogedora, limpia y rústica.

El desayuno en relción calidad-precio es algo justo, pero está nuy bueno igualmente.

Fantastic location, lovely hotel and great staff

Nicely furnished rooms with character. Excellent breakfast. Friendly staff. Short walk into the centre of Santillana. Easily accessible parking in front of the hotel.

No aircon in our room and too noisy to keep the windows open. One of the most noisy locations I have stayed due to close proximity of the road. Faint smell of drains throughout bedroom and bathroom.

We did not have any expectations when we arrived to the hotel. But this truly surpassed all our expectations. Room was spacious and beautiful spa was relaxing and food in the resturant was good.

The spa Hotel appeared very grand. Car park was open to road so not secure. although there were cameras.

Impersonal reception - was not welcoming and receptionist was quick to inform us we could not have lunch as there was a coach in and dining room was full. We were exhausted and had to seek lunch elsewhere. The ramp was very steep to our room which was not in the main hotel but in next building. No assistance for people with mobility problems.

the location

the bathtub in the bathroom was very small and you couldn’t move without touching the handle of the water faucet and drastically changing the water temperature. furthermore, it was very unsafe and slippery. no handles in the wall or anything to grab on to help you from falling. no elevator. We had to carry our bags up three floors through a very narrow staircase to get to the room and then go back down with the the bags when we left. my back hurt at the end of our stay. The room was poorly lit and the room service was horrible. The star of our stay was the front desk person named Sandra. she went out of her way to help us during our stay and to find a hotel in our next stay in Santander. She was very helpful, attentive, caring and very helpful. She went out of her way.

The room, spa and breakfast were all lovely. The staff were fantastic and we'd liked to thank them for their courtesy and support.

It may have been an exception with our room, but their was no plug for the bath until we requested one and the position of the shower meant that it couldn't be used without soaking the bathroom floor so we had to have baths instead.
