Location and welcoming by owner upon arrival. A minor matter was experienced that was sorted directly and with kindness and care.

Level of equipment was good. Linen, towels were crisp and clean.

Location was compromised by speedway meeting which was noisy, together with road noise which was evident. Early morning noise from planes was also uncomfortable. The air conditioning unit was filthy, we took out the filters and hoovered them which was an improvement. The property was damp with mould evident on some of the furniture. The outside of the building was covered in mould and the guttering blocked with plants growing in them (possibly where damp comes from). The garden was rundown and not at all picturesque.

the communication with the manager was amazing and they were very accomodating with paying off the amount and adding in an extra person close to the time.

Nice quiet location away from main roads and noise. Not much natural lighting but not a issue, needs a landing at main entrance to save people tripping over the steps as they exit in the darl with a outside sensor light would be ideal

frypans are all old and non stick, but kitchen had everything you could need

Location was great. Beautiful grounds with quail and other bird life. We enjoyed sitting outside in the sun, with the shade of the trees.

USB charging points would be great.

Awesome property. Close to Christchurch fire shopping but having the quiet and peace of staying in the country.

Only thing would be the bed. It is okay but probably due for an upgrade as sagging a bit

Handy location, tidy cottage, plenty of room and all the amenities we needed. Great grounds and friendly staff. My daughter particularly loved being so close to horses.

We were there for a week, could have used more laundry powder and coffee, but we bought some so it was all good

The layout of the cottage was very good. It was warm and had a very well-stocked kitchen (except for a bread knife!) and laundry. Out of town but very accessible to different destinations. We loved being close to Orana and the river trails / bike hire.

The cottage is very shaded by trees so frost-free but also very little natural sunlight. The green slime on outside walls was off-putting and could be easily cleaned up. The inside was in direct contrast - clean and cozy.

Location was great and the property was very clean and spacious, we were extremely happy with our stay, thank you so much. Would definitely recommend it.

Wonderful stay. Beautiful grounds. Had everything we needed and was nice and warm. Host was wonderful. We all enjoyed it. Had a family member who popped in to say hello and even they loved it and thinking of booking for a few nights when there house sells. Would definitely be booking here again

The cottage was lovely and clean, they had turned on heat pumps to ensure it was warm when we arrived. Loved having a wander around the grounds and seeing the unique art. Was 100% stay again. Only problem was the couches were not sofa beds like stated on site, but perfect aside from that

The beds were very old and the master bed was held up with bricks, outside of cottage needed a good clean.
