Questo moderno condominio di lusso si trova sulla costa nord della Repubblica Dominicana, situato in Emotions Playa Dorada, il resort più nuovo e moderno della zona, con il più grande fronte spiaggia di Playa Dorada, Puerto Plata, e la più bella spiaggia di sabbia dorata , della costa settentrionale. Ha due camere da letto e due bagni. La camera da letto principale ha un letto king size, con porte scorrevoli in vetro in modo che il sole si riversi, si apre su una piscina turchese circondata da palme e sabbia dorata, apre le porte di vetro per addormentarsi circondato dal suono delle onde e sentire l'oceano brezza giorno e notte, la camera degli ospiti ha due letti full size, oltre a un letto matrimoniale incorporato. The location and apartment were exactly as described on the VRBO website. The only minor issue was that the property management staff was not very welcoming; we weren't sure where to check in, and they were not very forthcoming with information about what you could and couldn't use while on the resort property. When asked what we could do, they provided incorrect information. We asked if we could order food from our apartment, and we were told we could. We later discovered that because we did not receive the all-inclusive package, ordering food to be delivered incurs a high fee. It didn't ruin the vacation; it was just a minor misunderstanding on their part. I still think it's a great place to have fun, but keep in mind that they aren't particularly interested in providing information unless you ask.

We really enjoyed our stay in Stephanie’s condo. You would have a hard time finding a place closer to the beach or a nicer beach. It was just beautiful. The ground level patio had a large table, couch and small pool for cooling off. At night we felt like we had the beach to ourselves. It was also nice that this portion of the beach was not crowded when we were there, and we had no problem finding lounge chairs. Once we became familiar with the area, we found a beach bar and restaurant. We also found three restaurants within walking distance including an excellent Italian and fusion Japanese restaurant. The unit was clean and very nice, though it might be a little tight for 4 adults.
You should be aware that the condo is within an all-inclusive resort. Some may find this an advantage and others a minus. You can use the restaurants and bars, but you have to pay for a day pass. It was $85.00/person when we were there. You can also pay in the lobby for individual meals. We are over all-inclusive buffets and standing in line for a-la-cart restaurant reservations, but that is us.

We loved staying here! It's right on the beach and the apartment was very comfortable. Tatiana (apartment manager) was very communicative and helpful.
The only issue...unfortunately, there was a very strong chemical smell that began permeating our room our first night, in the early morning. Hotel maintenance did not come out to check when contacted by Tatiana which was concerning as it could have been serious. We thought it could be the AC unit or pesticides. We didn't know.
In the end, it's likely it was a new toilet bowl sanitizer that the manager suggested was the problem after we had left based on her talk with the housecleaners. We must have overlooked it.
We hope that brand will never be used again for the sake of future guests. We have read reviews about the brand, and it has made people's eyes water. We were almost to that point ourselves. We had to keep our bathroom door closed so the rest of the apartment could be used, but then when we went inside for anything, it was even stronger.
If they can eliminate that issue, this place is a 5+! Again, great location, and Tatiana did everything she could to get a maintenance worker out.
Other than that...be sure you are clear on which restaurants and facilities you can use while in the apartment. Some hotel restaurants/bars are only for hotel guests. We loved Green Jack Tar restaurant down the beach and the buffet breakfast was ok on the hotel grounds that we could pay for per person. Hope this helps!

Amazing stay!!
My girlfriend and I came here for our 5th year anniversary and the property exceeded our expectations. Anything was clean and in perfect order. Our host was on point!! We were left great instructions on where to go, places to eat etc., you are literally steps away from the beach and if you don’t want to go to the beach you can just hop in the pool right outside of the master bedroom. 5 stars!! Definitely would rent it again!!

Phenomenal view and accommodations
We recently returned from Puerto Plata with our family of 6 and I never imagined that I would ever be able to afford a condo with such an amazing view and location. The communication with condo owners was easy and prompt. We had the very best week. The condo was clean and just as expected.. They had a lady come and clean it while we were there and gave us clean linens which was nice since we had it for a whole week. They also came and cleaned the pool during the week.. We had no other choice than to arrive a few hours before check-in as our flight arrived at 10 AM.
The resort was very accommodating and understanding and let the kids use the pools while we waited for our room to be ready.. The resort was very quiet during the first half of the week as travel from foreign countries is still very slow In the Puerto Plata area. This actually made me sad because so many of the other resorts in the area were still closed down and you can definitely see that it is still going to be a long road ahead until this area recovers economically from covid. We had anticipated walking to the restaurants in the area rather than doing the all inclusive for the whole week but it turns out that the restaurants that were mentioned in the earlier reviews are now closed down and the Playa Dorada mall is a ghost town. We still manged to find one restaurant that we could walk to just down the beach at the Black Tar resort. The Dominican people went out of there way to make us feel welcome and we were very impressed by all the workers at the Emotions resort. We would absolutely love to come back someday and we would recommend it to anyone considering travel to this area. Some of our other highlights were 27 waterfalls, paradise Island had the best snorkeling we have ever seen and we loved our cab drive Jose Sosa. We would recommend him to anyone.

A Hidden Gem in the DR
We are longtime VRBO users and without a doubt this was one of the most fantastic properties we have ever stayed in. This property is the real deal.
First, the pictures are accurate to a T. ....beds were comfortable, appliances up to date, everything in the condo met or exceeded expectations. The patio became our favorite spot in the condo....from Morning coffee to our mid day lunch break, to evening cocktails ...the spacious and well appointed patio area became our fav spot. Also, the small dipping pool was a nice feature to cool off a bit after a hot day under the DR sun.
Second,' you are steps from one of the most beautiful beaches you could possibly want. Pretty much uncrowded with plenty of comfortable beach lounge chairs for your use. This is one of the most beautiful and expansive beaches I have encountered in the Caribbean.
The resort staff was friendly and professional. This resort was so all encompassing you don't need to leave, but don't fall into that easy choice, get off the property and enjoy some great restaurants all within easy walking distance. Our favorite quickly became Tee Off...with a five star Michelin chef to the courteous professional host, Juan Carlos, this dining spot must not be missed. And whatever the chef is recommending, try it..also the setting on the golf course is breathtaking. Don't miss this superb dining experience. The little family run Italian restaurant inside the mall area is great also.
Finally, nothing goes without a few hiccups...and if you have ever owned property, especially rental property, you accept this, but it is how you respond that makes the difference.Our onsite go to person was Tatiana and what an asset she was. From a dimished hot water supply to internet connectivity issues Tatiana was never far away, responses came within minutes not hours and all issues resolved ...again exceeding expectations on all fronts.
This is probably the premier unit in the entire resort. From the view drinking morning coffee to enjoying the resort facilities...this is the real deal. Kick off your shoes and enjoy the sun and sand and relaxation this property brings to your life .

A true five-star place to stay in Playa Dorada
We booked this beautiful condo for our honeymoon and were not disappointed! The unit was perfect. It has just the right amount of space for us to hang out and chill. I can't tell you how many hours I spent relaxing on the deck, watching the waves, enjoying the shade provided by the umbrella, but basking in the warm air. Hanging out in our own private pool, and just relaxing! The unit was perfect.
The ocean in front never really calmed down enough for us to want to swim right there, but if you walk about 3 minutes to the east, there is a calmer area to get in and play.
As guests, we had full access to hotel events and activities. The staff at the hotel were great. We had fun with the mini-golf.
That said. A reviewer below gave a not so great review about the food offered at the resort, and I wish we had taken heed. If you think you want to purchase the all-inclusive meal package, I'd recommend you try it before you buy it. For the most part, it was not that good except the lobster on the beach - that was delicious and worth the splurge. The walk to the Playa Dorada mall is just moments away. You HAVE to go to La Tarrapa to have pizza. So good!
My recommendation? Get off the resort for great food! Stay at Wilfreds for the best unit at Emotions!

Amazing unit and great owner
My husband and I greatly enjoyed our four night stay in March. This really is, very obviously, the best unit in the resort. It was clean and the pool was cleaned while we were there, which was nice to see how well it's kept up. The views are spectacular and we had no issues with the unit. It is definitely large enough for a small family to stay comfortably.
The reason why I could only give four stars is due to issues with the resort in which the unit is located. There seemed initially to be confusion about what we did or did not have access to within the resort. Because we were arriving Sunday evening we planned to start an all inclusive meal plan on Monday. The resort acted as if we were the first people to ever do this and it was very confusing. It also would have been helpful to know in advance that the all inclusive package does not start until noon, I don't know why this isnt made clear. If you opt in for the all inclusive food/drink the food is just OK, about what is to be expected from a not-great all inclusive. Regardless, the unit owner was helpful and extremely communicative when these minor issues arose, which was appreciated.
After a day or two we fully realized not to bother with the rest of the resort and instead to just enjoy our own private pool and outdoor seating area. We would return, but would opt out of the all inclusive option.

Beautiful beachside vacation
Absolutely beautiful location on the beach, best beachfront condo in the resort if not the Playa Dorada area. We loved the view & easy access to the beach. Having our own private pool was a luxury which we quite enjoyed. We encountered a few issues but Wilfred addressed the concerns quickly and was very attentive in making sure we enjoyed our stay.

Amazing stay!
We recently stayed at Willfred's place in Puerto Plata and we had a great time. His condo is exactly as described, very well maintained and right in front of the beach. The location is just unbeatable and absolutely perfect for a family. The beach is gorgeous and fully equipped. Additionally, the place is extremely safe as it is located within a resort. Willfred is a terrific host: he's always easy to reach and available to provide help and/or useful tips on things to do around.

BEST LOCATION RIGHT ON THE BEACH
We traveled as 2 couples to stay at Wilfreds condo at Playa Dorada and had a great trip!! The location was the best on the resort. Having coffee on the patio watching the ocean was the greatest. Can not get better than a few steps to the beach and your lounge chairs to relax the day away. Then just a few steps back to the condo to get a snack or get a drink. The property is as advertised and Wilfred was great to work with. We went with the all inclusive choice and loved it. The buffet food was great and easy to get drinks at the bars. No premium liquor choices but that was ok. It was a 5 min walk to the plaza store to get what we wanted. We hope to go back to this condo next year. Thanks Wilfred!!

Great stay!
Wonderful time in playa Dorada! The condo really is the best unit in the resort. Kitchen was fully equipped, did our groceries at Jumbo (about 5-10 min away) and were able to find everything we needed. We spent a lot of time playing in the pool with our little one, reading in the chair and relaxing. The owner was always available for questions and replied promptly to all of our requests.

Ahhh! Beach!
It’s true. This is the best unit on the resort. The pictures are exactly what you get. I enjoyed my coffee every morning looking at the gorgeous view!! Everything we needed was there, even a little electric grill and a Bluetooth speaker. We travelled with our 4 and 6 year old, they loved the kids club (the ladies were so welcoming!), archery and tennis lesson,the arcade, and the beach (owner has some small beach toys) and all the pools. My husband and I enjoyed the members pools right on the beach, you can not beat that! The little restaurants/shops/mall is a easy private walk. Owner was quick to respond with questions we had. 5 stars for amazing value!

Simply Wonderful!
This place is simply wonderful. Right from the arrival, you feel that the speed of the daily routine is left behind and all you want is to stay there enjoying the beautiful beach and the super nice and comfortable apartment. Although the apartment is housed inside a very nice resort, the beach, the outdoor jacuzzi and the exquisiteness of the apartment make you not to need anything else. Wilfred is an excellent host. Very attentive and communicative, always available. We can only thank him for allowing us to have a better stay than we expected. We definitely recommend it 200%. Thank you!

Exclusive vacation in paradise beach!!
My family and I had a wonderful time! The property is beautifully decorated and had everything we needed. There is something magical about waking up and seeing the ocean from your bed! Wilfred, our host was very welcoming, friendly and provided everything we needed. The beach was never crowded and it is absolutely beautiful. Also, Geraldine, the person who cooked for us, was an amazing chef! She was so friendly and helpful with anything we needed. I highly recommend this property! I will come back!!

Great Experience
When visiting Wilfred’s place, you can expect to be treated with the outmost in customer service. Wilfred and his family have gone above and beyond to make the unit everything you wish in a vacation (comfortable, safe, beautiful beach front location, etc.). For a little bit extra Wilfred can provide you with a wonderfully nice lady who will clean the unit daily and will even offer other services such as cooking.
My wife, daughter and I loved the convenience of exiting Wilfred’s unit straight to the beach, with the ability to come back and relax in our own private Jacuzzi pool when we needed a break.
As the unit is inside a resort and the atmosphere is pretty relaxing. Some of the benefits of being in an owner’s unit inside of the actual resort is that you have access to all you can eat plans or individual meal options and/or snacks.
Wilfred and his family were very attentive and cared for my family very much during our stay. We are beyond thankful for his hospitality and care.

Cozy with an spectacular view
I have visited a lot of hotels and condominiums in the Dominican Republic and nothing beats this one in Puerto Plata. As soon as we drove in, the service from the security to the representatives in the hotel was very welcoming. The condo was always clean, organized and ready for anything we needed. Rooms & living room with A/C and TV’s with cable. WiFi throughout the entire hotel. The condo is completely furnished with everything needed so we felt like right at home with the best view in the hotel. The food at the buffet was great. The host was fast answering any questions we had. We enjoyed all the amenities from the batting cage, golf to the night life. Hotel is kid friendly & has adult sections only as well. Condo exceeded my expectations more than pictured. I highly recommend it & cant wait to visit again.

Wilfred was a very gracious host. He was flexible with our arrival time and provided a helpful maid service who was there everyday to help ensure our comfort. The apartment was well appointed with great views of the ocean and great location.

Wonderful romantic retreat rightbon the beachfront
This is such a lovely place. I was really loving my selection as soon as I walked into the door. This is THE BEST UNIT IN THE RESORT. You can literally roll off the bed into the jacuzzi. This is foot steps from the beach. Everything you need is in the kitchen. This is like 20 minutes to great restaurants and about the same from the airport. Staff is super friendly and host is very communicative.
