Room was lovely as usual. Superb shower and bathroom! Very clean, lovely comfy bed. Plenty of tea and coffee. Loads of plugs and the TV is a smart TV offering more than Freeview. Excellent!

No net curtains or net blinds. If you want privacy, you have to close the curtains and during the light hours, this is a pain but it's a small price to pay for such a lovely place to stay.

The room and bathroom were exceptional !

Setting of the park is beautiful, lovely lake and plenty of green space.

Arrived and stated I was there for the hotel. Response was they don’t have a hotel, because they refer to them as ‘rooms’. Just seemed a little petty for a first impression. Room was very close to the pub so pretty noisy until late. Room facilities are lacking, wouldn’t take much to add a basic hairdryer and drinking glasses into each room. Stated room was for 3 but only had towels for 1. (which are tiny)

not a criticism but the more could be done for privacy I get bushes have been planted but we had to keep blinds closed as you could see directly into neighbours. needs a bath mat as bath very slippery when showering, and could do with more utensils and crockery as having to use them for cooking and preparing food ie spreading bread then wash to use for eating. for 4 persons I would recommend having 6 of each thing to allow for these purposes.

Lodge was exceptionally clean and spacious. Perfect size for the 3 of us. Lovely and warm, large comfortable beds and very roomy bathroom facility. Decent tea/coffee facility. Plenty of parking, which was available right outside the door. Site was really quiet and peaceful. Pub serving food just a few steps away. Would definitely recommend.

Nowhere to have breakfast. Would be good to have somewhere on site to grab bite to eat before pub opens at 12pm. Checking in after the office closed was a bit of a hassle, but the staff at the pub were very helpful. Could just do with a bit more signposting on site and before arrival.

This is a lovely site with friendly staff and a great bar/restaurant. The cabin was very clean, modern and spacious.

We were surprised that there were no tea towels, dish cloths, washing up liquid etc. on arrival. If we had been told in advance that we needed to bring these then it would have been fine, but you do otherwise expect the basics to be provided. We were staying over Christmas so had to go out and buy them on Christmas Eve which wasn’t ideal. Just some clearer information around this would suffice, however, the accommodation is not cheap so maybe these should be included.

Location great. We was informed they stopped doing breakfast which is a shame as no facilities to cook. We like to have breakfast before leaving.

The news Yr eve food wasn't the best. Much preferred the old buffet, cold meats and salads, jacket potatoes . Cold pasta and noodles wasn't nice.
