The apartment is on the marina but facing the gardens and pool so is ideally situated but away from the crowds and noise. Very clean and well appointed with a large bed and nice linen. AC is good. Sofa bed is good but you obviously lose a sofa to sit/relax on unless you pack it up every morning. Host is responsive by what’s app so easy key pick up, and responded to our need for a few things. Decor is pale, very minimal and new short is good in a big bathroom. Balcony is lovely space. We have recommended it to friends.

Host doesn’t provide pool towels which I would have liked to have known as I’ve not had to pack those for decades and we wanted to use the pool. We had to ask for more indoor towels and toilet paper as these were absolutely minimum in our view. the hand soap container in the bathroom was empty. For us no point being there if it’s empty. There were also no covid type extras like hand gel or wipes or any covid info regarding Portuguese rules. This was ok for us as we had it and were visiting friends but you need to bring it or ask friends or research about the social distancing rules. Despite the above we would stay again and have recommended the apartment to friends here.

Excellent location, literally step out of the lift onto the marina.

A very good sized, modern and clean apartment, with one bedroom and a long thin balcony overlooking the pool. We stayed for 2 nights before flying home. A brilliant location, right on the marina means no long walks at night, but as the room faces the pool it was quiet and has very little noise. The only noise in fact was the group of women next door who came in at 2.30am both nights - but you can get that anywhere. The owner was very active on Whatsapp from about a week before, checking our arrival times and ensuring we were met by the lovely Rita. They sent pictures etc and told us how to enter the private car park and exactly where to collect the keys etc. The room was beautifully clean, we didn't stay in to eat at all but the kitchen looked to have great facilities and the large island unit would mean lots of space for meals/drinks. We didn't go to the pool as we are beach lovers, but it looked quiet and peaceful and we would have tried it if we had been there longer. It may also work well if it's windy as it's very protected. Yes, we would definitely return again.

The only slight downside would be the shower is a little dated and it would look better if it were replaced, however it is quite a strong flow with lots of hot water.... The ventilation in the bathroom isn't working so it took a while for the mirror to clear. As there's only one mirror in the whole of the apartment it wasn't easy to do hair/makeup after showers. Only small niggles though, everything else was great
