the swimming area was quiet. there was a good selection of foods for the breakfast buffet. I really enjoyed the Disco evening.

the sauna was not on in the swimming pool area. no shampoo or body wash available there.

The hotel has a variety of facilities and is conveniently located in the town. I had a wonderful time and the staff were welcoming during my stay.

hot tub in the spa area is too small for such a big hotel. no bartender behind the bar. food evening was average but good service

The room was exceptional and one of the nicest rooms we stayed in on our trip. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble for them. The breakfast team were also excellent. Really enjoyed the hotel and if I am ever back in Mayrhofen I would have no hesitation in staying here again.

The location is perfect, just about 10 minutes walk from the Pennkenbahn. There is a train stration just next to the hotel to travel to Zell am Ziller etc. The hotel is in the centre of the town which is perfect. Mayrhofen is small and lovely. We had a room in a building in the depandance and it was very quiet. Room was big and renovated. Very nice bathroom. Balcony with a mountain view. Halfboard was perfect. Breakfast was phenomenal...everything you can imagine. Halfboard was also very nice. The cherry on the top is the lake in the garden.

unfriendly staff at times. Not helpful to someone with limited mobility issues. Very poor menu choice on HB. Nothing else offered, if set meal did not suit. Had to eat out one evening as menu was not to our taste.

Nice location. Live music each evening when I was there. I was moved to a very modern beautiful room on the second night of my stay, as my original booked room was overbooked. Gorgeous view from rooms. One particular male waiter was very friendly and helpful in restaurant.

Some staff appear completely disinterested at reception and should not be working in a hospitality role. Half board was pretty reasonable value but very weird having to sit at exactly the same table each morning and night, looking at the same people, especially as a single guest. Seems very inflexible. One waitress only to serve entire outdoor area. Needless to say, had to wait ages for service and to even pay the bill!

Good breakfast Excelent location. Music every evening.

I booked a double room with balcony, but were given a room which had a balcony with very limited view.

No restaurant unless you are half board - or like the outdoor beer Keller with clouds of smoking and loud distorted Europop - every day we had to fight for a space to sit at breakfast - after day 5 we were told to report daily to reception - this place is not set up for non half board residents - not made welcome at all ! Did not like and did not expect having read the website (local food / a la carte ) to have to walk halfway up town every night for dinner - couldn't even get coffee of an evening unless you wanted smoke with it

Food was excellent. Waiting staff were friendly and helpful. The only complaint I would have is the inside bar was never open and we could never get a table outside. Seating around the back was plentiful but there was no bar or waiting staff. In the evenings we would end up going to another hotel for a drink. It wasn’t a problem but I think this hotel are missing out on business!

Bar area never open in the evenings. Catering for allergies - limited . Apart from that - nothing.

The breakfast was great. The outdoor pool and gardens were lovely as were the grounds in general. The new part of the hotel and the new restaurant have been built and decorated to a really amazing quality. Beautiful place to sit for breakfast every morning. Beautiful part of the hotel the spend time in generally.

The staff at Check in were appalling. So rude and dismissive. The lady at breakfast making omelettes was extremely rude also. Generally the staff at this hotel were not great. The old part of the hotel at the front is quite old and dated. It absolutely needs to be spruced up. The hotel is a good kilometres walk from the Cable car so I would definitely not stay here in Winter for skiing. Also you wouldn’t have access to the outdoor pool and garden area in Winter and that’s the nicest part. The food at Dinner was only average. We ate here the first night and then had much nicer meals in other hotels.

Great facilities. We had one of the new rooms which was spacious and extremely comfortable. The bed was one of the best I've slept in. Outdoor areas were great with an exceptional view.

The spa area seemed a bit outdated and the fact that it was a nude spa didn't make us comfortable. It didn't seem to match the vibe you get of the website. The food included in half board was half decent. It's nothing near a gourmet experience if you are used to traveling and dining at gourmet restaurants. The menu consists of 5 courses where the first is a bland salad buffet offered every single day. No variation on a daily basis. I recommend omitting half board and go for the a la carte menu. Breakfast is great, with a large selection og charcuterie, eggs, yogurt etc.

our breakfast room old fashioned, we were almost alone in the breakfast room. during our breakfast employees always working around us. it would have been perfect if one could chose ourself our table for having breakfast. The second day our table was occupied by other people who left their wine bottle on the the table. Anyway the breakfast buffet was great.

We stayed at the Neuhaus during the summer and loved it’s excellent location to the train station and only 10 minutes walk to the Penkenbahn lift. it is in the centre of town and part of the restaurants and bar facilities in Mayrhofen. The hotel was very clean and had excellent facilities including a beautiful freshwater swimming pond and surrounding gardens; the main dining area and the spa facilities (although we did not use) looked good. The self service breakfasts were excellent and the afternoon cake and evening meals were good, particularly the salad bar. Our suite was spacious and decorated in traditional Austrian style. We would definitely book the Neuhaus again.

The staff were very nice but the service particularly when ordering a drink was extremely slow.

food was mediocre and there seems to be a bad atmosphere between the staff. in particular one person seems to aastest undue pressure, terrifying some of the younger female staff. whole place felt highly disfunctional
