Sea Urchins Cottage - a cottage that sleeps 5 guests in 2 bedrooms
Cottage di Urchins del mare è stato costruito nel 2016 ad un'eccellente specifica. Al piano inferiore c'è un portico e un'ampia sala d'ingresso con guardaroba / wc, che conduce ad una generosa salotto / sala da pranzo / cucina aperta. Doppie porte finestre portano sul giardino con posti a sedere all'aperto e vista sul mare. Al piano superiore ci sono due camere da letto. Il padrone ha un letto king-size, un balcone con splendida vista sul mare e bagno privato. La seconda camera può essere costituita come due piccoli singoli o un letto matrimoniale con un ampio bagno con doccia. Forniamo un ulteriore letto a campeggio (preferibilmente per bambini) con biancheria da letto, che si adatta in camera da letto a seconda della vostra preferenza. C'è anche un lettino da viaggio per un neonato se necessario. All'esterno c'è una zona prato e posto auto per due auto.
Sea Urchins Cottage si trova nello sviluppo Bay, un pluripremiato parco vacanze sulla costa Yorkshire, con accesso privato fino alla spiaggia. La Baia è una base ideale per coloro che amano fare sport o attività all'aria aperta. Avrete libero accesso alla grande piscina coperta riscaldata, alla piscina per bambini, alla sauna e al bagno di vapore e alla palestra. C'è anche un piccolo parco giochi, campo da calcio e campi da bocce. Altre attività sono disponibili in loco per un piccolo costo - tiro con l'arco, scherma, trattamenti di bellezza / massaggio, ping-pong, tennis, putting green, aqua-aerobica e altre attività in piscina. This was our 4th visit to the Bay and this cottage was the best house we have stayed in. The location is fantastic being close to the beach and the resort centre. There is limited traffic so it is ideal for children’s safety.
The cottage was spotless on arrival and was very well equipped.
We had a sealed bulb go in the downstairs toilet and Paula sent someone out to sort it straight away.
All in all a great cottage and a great holiday, despite some dodgy weather.
Our 4 year old granddaughter loved the cottage so much she asked if we could stay. She did 3 activities whilst here, slime making, build a bear and tie dying a T-shirt and she loved them all and Jordan who took the sessions.

Visited this property and location several times. Always found a very high standard of cleanliness. Excellent location for cliff and beach walks. Short drive to North Yorkshire moors and seaside attractions. Well equipped with home comforts. Easy parking, quiet peaceful location.

We loved this cottage, everything we needed for a home away break was in the cottage. Location was fabulous for the beach and the local pub on site and the log fire was the perfect ambiance in the evening (fluffy socks & cosy toes). Loved the balcony in the master bedroom, open the blinds to a sea view with a nice cuppa. We will most definitely book this cottage again

This cottage is ideally placed only a short distance from the amenities on site and the beach walk. The cottage was very comfortable and had all you could need during a break near the seaside. We have used The Bay a number of times and this cottage was the best so far.

We had a great stay at Sea Urchins Cottage. There were 4 of us, 2 adults and 2 young children. The cottage was very clean, spacious, and decorated beautifully. The beds were so comfy and having an en suite on both bedrooms was great. We had everything we needed. It was a short 2 minute walk to the main area where the pub was. And the coastal path was also a short walk so the location was brilliant. I would recommend this cottage if you were looking to stay at the bay. It’s also pet friendly but sadly our dog passed away before our holiday.

What an excellent modern, clean house with all the mod cons you would need to make any length of stay a good one. Good Wi-Fi, excellent TV. The decor throughout is lovely and the bathrooms are superb. The location is great and only a 10 minute walk to the beach. The bay is a lovely quiet place and we will be back.

Everything was catered for and the goody bag and chocolates on arrival were very much appreciated after our journey. We were all impressed with the carpeted upstairs including the dog and my granddaughter was over the moon with the blue bathroom her favourite colour. The sea views from the verandah and the nearness to the beach enhanced our stay immensely. We enjoyed it so much we have already booked it for next year.

Just what we needed for somewhere to stay for a local family wedding. A very clean and comfortable property with all of the equipment etc which you could want for self-catering and close to the huge beach.

This is our 4th year at the bay. This was the most expensive. It was probably well worth the extra money, and I may come again in the future. Beautiful house with everything you need is there. You really don’t need to bring anything but your clothes. Paula was very easy to contact. We stayed for 2 weeks and the cleaners came after the first week and gave us fresh towels and sheets. Really good service.

Just tough with toddlers trying to keep them out of the knife drawers!
Just on arrival there are lots of plug in smelly things which are actually really bad for your lung health especially little ones.
I also really hate having the lawns being mown so often ( twice a week! Then the come round with a blower to clean up the massive mess!) and a path was being lain as we arrived last time meaning it wasn’t the most relaxing location to let the kids run around.
Is in all a wonderful cottage would just be great to have a few more things thought about to make it more child friendly.

Lovely house with all the amenities you would need. The Covid cleanliness was excellent and gave much needed reassurance in these odd time. We have stayed at The Bay before , but this property has an excellent location and being able to see the sea was lovely.

Lovely holiday home
A lovely holiday home which has one of the best views of Filey Brigg you could wish for! Even if the weather isn't great you can still sit out on the balcony and watch the world go by.
The cottage is well kept and situated very near the path to the beach, pub and pool which is ideal if you have children.
Each bedroom has an ensuite along with a cloakroom downstairs. Plenty of space throughout.
We'll definitely be booking again!

This was our second stay at the bay. The first property that we stayed at was brilliant and we hoped for something of a similar standard but this property truly exceeded all our expectations. Was able to walk down the path on to the beach and then all the way to Filey which was really nice not having to bother with the car (having taken note of the high tide times). We didn't use the swimming facilities as we did not have time but the estate is superbly kept.

Gorgeous property
We stayed here for a short break. The house is gorgeous, well equipped, spacious and has everything you need. Being so close to the beach is an added bonus especially with 2 dogs. The log fire was an added bonus, kids loved the pool too. We would love to visit again

Fantastic winter break at the Sea Urchins Cottage
We had a 4 night winter break at the new Sea Urchins Cottage on the Bay, Filey and what an amazing time we had. The location is amazing with direct access onto the beach. The cottage has everything you need for a relaxing stay and will suit everyone's needs. Our 2 border terriers - Silva and Lily had a wonderful time too. The owners should be very proud of their accommodation and the sea views from the master bedroom are breathtaking. We will certainly promote this accommodation to our family and friends and hope to be back soon.
