Property very comfortable and exactly as pictured. The host Jon was very communicative and easy to deal with. We had a fabulous time. Layout of 3 bedrooms and 2 baths was perfect.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Jon’s flat on the Royal Mile. It’s perfectly located, comfortable, and everything we needed for our trip to Edinburgh. Jon was communicative and very pleasant to work with. I would definitely recommend choosing the flat to others traveling in the area.

Apartment was in a really good location to many of points of interest in the old Town.. lots of places to eat on your doorstep. Apartment was comfortable and lovely and warm, well equipped although we didn’t do any cooking whilst there. Checkin was easy to follow with the detailed instructions provided… would definitely book again

The flat is perfect for the centre of Edinburgh. Lots of space, easy access. Yes it’s a bit noisy at night but you’re on the royal mile what do you expect. Fab week

We had a fantastic stay at this property! The location was perfect; right on the Royal Mile! It is walking distance from the train station, the bus tours, Edinburgh Castle, restaurants and shopping. Plus the bonus of people watching from the windows. The host gave excellent instructions for arrival and then checked to make sure we got in alright. The beds were comfy and the apartment was clean and spacious. I highly recommend for anyone looking to stay in Edinburgh!!

Incredible location for access to Royal mile but that comes with traffic and people noise until late into the night, especially when the pubs empty. Kitchen was very dark and tiny but had the basics. Most of the lightbulbs burnt out. No freezer. Bathrooms quite nice and comfy beds in large bedrooms. Best part is the amazing view up and down the mile and location to pubs and shops.

We are a family of 6 and we stayed here for 3 days. This flat allowed us to easily access activities in the old down part of Edinburgh. This was exactly the type of accommodation we were looking for within easy walking distance from the rail station and close to all the activities we had chosen for our stay.

I cannot say enough good things about this apartment and the location. Perfect spot to tackle Old Edinburgh or set iut for any point you desire. The apartment is well equipped and ready to host you and your party. Jon was immediately attentive and provided a ton of information to help with ideas and settling in. Specific advisce is to have a parking plan if you arrive by a car. I would not hesitate to stay here again. Thank you Jon for being a great host!!

Used this great apartment as a base of operations for bucket list golf trip and site seeing in Edinburgh. Great location along the Royal Mile. Owner was very responsive to any issues.

We found this apartment to be clean, roomy, comfortable and in the perfect location for visiting the Royal Mile. It was easy to access assuming you understand that it is up 2 flights of stairs. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend this apartment to a friend.

We cannot recommend this location enough! ON the Royal Mile! Well-appointed. Six adults were very comfortable for our 4 night stay. Washer & Dryer was a bonus! Easy walking to so many places. Pubs & restaurants everywhere. We loved our stay. It’s on the 3rd floor so pack accordingly! 😉

A great place- comfy beds, good showers, nice living room space, however the best thing is the location! Loved the easy access to all the major sights and shopping - the only negative is the noise at nighttime but that is to be expected in a busy city. Host was super helpful and all details were clear. Wonderful experience in Edinburgh while staying here. Central location with all the sites within walking distance.

Acceptable few days. Not good if you have any mobility issues as the flat has 60/70 steps up to it. Extremely noisy at night, not the properties fault, but maybe some additional single glazing might help. Property was warm and clean and relatively good value for the location. Grateful to Jon for allowing us to leave our bags before the normal check in time.

This flat is spacious and comfortable and Jon is a wonderful host. It was great to be in the center of it all!

Great location in Old Town.

Located on the Royal Mile, this apartment is ideal for sightseeing in Edinburgh. I had several questions (hair dryer; parking) before our trip and the owner answered me promptly and was very communicative and friendly. During the trip, I had a question about the lights in the stairwell and he answered me almost immediately. There is a washer/dryer combo which took us a hot minute to figure out; same with the shower (hint, flip the switch outside the door), and we got confused about the floor the apartment was located on (we don't count the first floor as zero in America) but we figured it out. I thought we'd utilize the kitchen but we did not partially because the little store right downstairs although convenient was closed for the Queen's funeral. We did make coffee. I'd highly recommend staying here.

Very convenient to restaurants, sights and shopping. Comfortable accommodations. For future guests, suggest a guest handbook with instructions for how to use appliances, ie; washer/dryer. Otherwise, this stay was a perfect start to our sister trip.

This was a fabulous stay. Everything was conveniently located to the apartment Bedrooms were set up perfect for 6 adults. Very clean, host was easy to contact. We would recommend this location to everyone staying in old town

Parking / dropping off suitcases was difficult, but it was so nice being right on the Royal Mile. So much within walking distance or a cab ride!

The location was amazing - the only issue was the noise level, there were 3 nights that I got NO sleep due to the level of noise once the pubs got out, lasted from 12 - 4:00 in the morning. Def. not a flat for kids, due to the stairs, but the flat was clean, beds were comfortable and had no real complaints. Jon was amazing, allowed us to get into the flat early to drop off our bags. Amazing vacation and great flat
