Manfredi and Cristiana were fabulous hosts. They gave us heaps of information and they were very friendly and helpful. Nice big comfortable terrace. Wonderful location - we could see the volcano from our terrace - and everything was a short walk away. It was very quiet and peaceful - the perfect place to relax. Our room was very comfortable, clean and well appointed. Having a fridge was great. Breakfasts were delicious on the rooftop terrace. Could not recommend this place more and hope to return some time. Vulcano is a great island and the only place to stay is Residence Al Mare.

Everything was perfect except we weren’t told we had to check in at Pensione La Giara, a short walk up the road.

The location was great, only 5 minutes from the harbor and the main streets. The highlight was the customer service from the team, Manfredi was great but also the other girl was very kind. The room was clean and had all the necessary.

We couldn't find the Residence straight away and the phone number showed on booking.com didn't work so we went around for quite a bit. It was our fault as the additional notes mentioned the check-in would have been at Pensione La Giara but I think a little extra effort to facilitate the process wouldn't hurt.

This is a great property. It is actually nicer than it looks in the photos with a great outdoor sitting area with pretty tiling and a view of the volcano. Unfortunately it was cold when we were there and the indoor area is really just for sleeping, but for the summer this would be perfect. The space is well equipped and spotlessly clean.
