This guesthouse honestly has the potential to be great. The only available room to rent is very clean and cosy. The bed and pillows are comfortable. There is ample room to move around and a nice big closet for your clothes. The blackout automatic curtains are very much appreciated. The AC works perfectly and the bathroom is spacious and well equipped. The room is cleaned regularly and towels are always fresh when you get back. There is a small minibar with a complementary bottle of still and sparkling mineral water.

The major problem that we had during our stay was the extremely distasteful and somewhat aggressive attitude of the owners. Although nice at first, they quickly became annoyingly judgemental of our choosing not to have breakfast with them or at all. My wife and I never eat breakfast and as we were tired from the activities of our stay in the region, we just wanted quiet mornings in bed before heading out. We were told, on two different occasions (second and last day), that our attitude was shocking and that guests at guesthouses are supposed to have breakfast with the owners and share life stories with them. The first time they told us so was the second morning. As we were walking out of our room all dressed up and ready to attend a wedding, and the temperature outside was a scorching and sunny 40 degrees Celcius (104 degrees Fahrenheit). They interrupted us and started lecturing us, while they were swimming in their swimming pool, which by the way is off limits to guests and only they can use it. We were also told that we didn't seem to have ever been to a guesthouse before. Also, when asked what time we were planning to check out on the last day I answered "around" 11 (checkout is between 10 and 11 am) and the owner replied very aggressively "no no! Not around 11, you need to already be gone by 11. We need time before the next guests arrive" (check-in is between 5:30 and 7 pm, so that's 6 and a half hours to get the room ready and I wasn't even asking for any sort of checkout favor). These owners are not bad people. They're just completely oblivious to the basic customer relationship notion that a warm and welcoming attitude will go a long way in making a stay enjoyable. Instead, they made our stay uncomfortable. I would not recommend you stay here and we certainly will never come back.
