This is a basic hotel. You get what you pay for. The room was clean and there was a kettle and coffee/tea facilities available. I appreciated the lack of carpet personally. While this may be seen as "cheap" by some, hard floor is much easier to keep clean and for me and my family this was a bonus. The place is very quiet even if it is on a main road.

The décor is a bit old and could do with some renovation, and the mattresses and pillows are too soft, which I did not find comfortable. There is no option for breakfast and there is nothing really nearby, so a car is required if you stay at this hotel. We bought some water which felt a bit overpriced, though it is expected in hotels. Overall, for the price, it was fine for a night or two. It was a shame that the restaurant next door was closed for a private event.

It was a pleasant stay and easy access to the venue we were attending. Also the staff were very helpful.

Slept well, comfortable bed despite it kind of collapsing under me when I sat on it! Very soft! Room and bathroom basic but pleasant, nice view of surrounding countryside. Nice little authentic Italian restaurant next door but that’s it within walking distance. Overall good value for money.

No facilities for breakfast was disappointing. No lift will make it difficult for some people although they could have a ground floor room. No ironing facilities in room. Asked for a 2nd key card so I could keep one in the room’s elec slot and keep one for access but the receptionist insisted I return one of them and she made it into quite a big deal which was a bit odd.
