The staff were very friendly, the room was spotlessly clean and of good size (also pretty and romantic), the location of the hotel is perfect (near the train station and my former neighbourhood), there’s a nice Italian restaurant downstairs, and the breakfast was very nice (especially the eggs).

Sehr sauber, schönes Zimmer, Restaurants im Haus, Frühstück schön angerichtet, Empfang sehr nett und sehr hilfsbereit, Lage sehr gut, Bahnhof, Busbahnhof sehr nah, Zentrum leicht erreichbar, Genügend Parkplätze vorhanden.
Frühstückszeiten zu kurz 6.30 bis 9.30 Uhr, wäre besser wenn es bis 10.30 Uhr gehen würde,
Wurst war ein wenig angelaufen am Rand, denke dass es durch die Lange Liegezeit angelaufen ist.

Zimmer waren bei Ankunft bereit, sauber und gut ausgestattet. Frühstück war reichlich und gut. Alles bestens, gerne wieder!

Sehr zentral gelegen , nicht weit zu Fuß vom Bahnhof entfernt.
Das Frühstücks Buffet war sehr gut. Von allem war bis zum Schluss alles vorhanden. Sogar extra Spiegeleier wurden gebraten. Sehr nettes Personal.

A nice hotel near the railway station which was what I wanted .its 2k to town centre but there is a bus station next to railway and hotel .Nice people good rooms and restaurant excellent. Quiet but you can get anywhere you want from here .

Shady location. Awful service.
One of my colleagues wanted to take a sandwich for the long upcoming day and was shouted at by the woman that was awkwardly watching us the entire breakfast (I assume the owner or related to the owner). I get it, breakfast is for consuming at the hotel only, but typically it's not a big deal and the staff of other hotels are happy to help with that. And if it is a big deal for you, treating your customers like crap for it is still not acceptable. Very awkward for us and the other guests having breakfast at the time.
Don't give your money to these people. They don't care about making your stay pleasurable.

I enjoyed my stay at the Hotel Am Westend. Very clean and spacious rooms with good desk space. Breakfast was excellent and the staff were friendly and very helpful. I enjoyed the location as it was 2 minutes walk from the train station, and yet very quiet. Very easy access to the town center with the regional bus sytem (takes 5 mins) from a hub at the train station. Large outdoor spaces (tables on terrasse and balcony) and a large salon with tables and couches to relax with a beer/coffee; especially if you are a large group. (Bottle openers on each table = civilized country!)
Supermarket, bank, and bars just outside the door. Bike rental a short walk from the hotel.
I will gladly stay here again.

very friendly staff, great breakfast with big range of quality products at buffet. Special plus the warm fresh bread out of the oven. Good choice of local beers at the bar and very nice and accommodating staff at the restaurant. excellent quality of service overall

The comfort of the bed was phenomenal. Will try and access the same bed for my home.

Clear directions on what, where and how to find the key to go inside into the hotel.
Because hotel reception doesn't work on the evening and night.
The shower head is very chalky and water runs hard. I had to clean by myself.
