Location was fantastic. Exactly a 7-minute walk from the Bus station. There is a massive sign at the end of the street saying "HOTEL" (it's not for the hostel but it makes it easy to find the street the Hostel is on) I chose this Hostel because it was near the bus station and as there was a war on i didn't want to arrive late, get lost and miss the curfew. I was planning to stay one week but ended staying two. Wait a couple of seconds and the shower was just fantastic. Each bed had a little curtain. A nice touch so you aren't woken by a late arrival. Kitchen was spacious and always clean. Indeed- the staff kept the whole place spotless. I was there in the winter but with the chairs and benches outside in the courtyard I would say this would be a great place to hang out in the summer months (Russian army permitting!!) With a slow walk it took half an hour into the city or about one hour to the nearest beach. One of the best Hostels I have stayed in. That said it was quiet. The war has sadly put off people coming to Odessa. So, I don't know what it would be like if the hostel was full. Maybe even nicer actually....

To be honest it's difficult to find a problem. None of the staff spoke English, which is actually not a problem really but worth mentioning. The mattress cover/ sheet I thought wasn't quite large enough. Slightly annoying but again not really a big issue.

Extremely comfortable beds with a socket and a lamp each. There are personal lockers for each person to store their luggage. Bathroom was very lovely; hot water worked perfectly and was cleaned regularly. Excellent location - very short walk to the main railway station, pryvoz market, and the beach. Clean towels and linen provided.

Nobody was at the reception when I first arrived to check in, but after coming back 30 minutes later there was someone, so I must have had bad timing. There's a number that you can call, but, and this was completely my fault, I was unable to as I didn't have a ukrainian SIM.
