We were treated extremely well. The place was very clean and well kept. Breakfast was fresh every day. Clean towels every day, which is very usual. The owner even thought she was unable to see attented to us personally, made sure that everything was still well taken care of. Location just right close to most facilities and places of interest. .would recommend anyone at any time, you will not be sorry

The location was perfect to discover the nearby beach and enjoy the view of the mountains at the back. The hosts were incredibly friendly and open and made us feel very welcome!

The facilities were well maintained and exceptionally clean. The room was compact but had everything that a reasonable traveler would require. The bathroom was large and very well maintained. The breakfast was continental and was delivered to the entrance of the room daily. The croissants were not freshly baked. When considering that cereals, fresh fruit, butter, jam, cheese, yogurt, and coffee are provided, this makes for an abundant breakfast. In addition, additional coffee and tea are provided to go with biscuits and rusks. A nice touch is that once the room has been cleaned, chocolate is placed on the pillow. Well done! Theresa is a great host and made us feel very welcome! The beach is a small distance from Casa Del Mar, but within easy walking distance. A restaurant (Dutchies) is on the beach and within easy walking distance.

The road to Hermanus runs in front of Casa Del Mar. Traffic is heard during the daytime, but it is quiet during the night. The double bed is small but adequate.

Theresa is very nice and the area as well, I wished we would have stayed longer
