Large room with great views, helpful friendly staff, pool

The property is fantastically located and has brilliant views

The property is quite dated, I imagine it was remodelled in the 90’s. The staff were all helpful and friendly, but a lady who I think is the owner or manager made some strange remarks to us as we left.

Wonderful hotel in a lovely location within walking distance of the town. Staff were friendly and attentive, lovely pool and good breakfast.

pool wasn’t open til 2 days after we left. unable to have pool towel for beach unless paid for it? so shame really.. our view looked out on fire escape and staff smoking area.. although could see lake through trees.

The hotel is in a good location, easy walking distance to the lake. Ample secure parking. Very helpful staff on reception. Room with small balcony overlooking the gardens.

There should be a 'No ball games' sign in the gardens and this should be monitored. We were unfortunate to have to see and hear an unruly inconsiderate family playing with balls and destroying the beautiful shrubbery in the garden beneath our balcony. They even turned a wrought iron table on it's side to allow the children to climb on it. The pool was not open. Expensive restaurant.

Lots. Great position. Easy walk to Old Centre. wonderful view from room and terrace. Very comfortable room. On premises parking was rare and so convenient. Outstanding restaurant and wine list. We were there for 4 nights and we didn’t even consider going anywhere else for dinner. Excellent breakfast. Great pool. Very helpful and friendly staff.

Made to feel uncomfortable, as we only ordered a main course in the evening restaurant . Kept waiting and ignored. Not all people can eat lots of food

Our room was not large however we had a very large terrace that overlooked the lake, hotel grounds and nearby hills.

Lovely continental breakfast. Great location, just 5/10 minutes walk from the central square. Good views of the lake. All the staff were exceptional, always very helpful and friendly, including those on reception, attending breakfast and cleaning the rooms. Always clean.

Slightly dated decor. Strange policy where if you say you'll be back after midnight they ask you to leave your key at reception. But no staff attend reception after midnight, so your key is left out on the counter anyway? Maybe just let guests have the key (or don't say you'll be back after midnight)

The Hotel was beautifully located on the hillside overlooking the lake and town below. It was approximately a 10 minute walk down to the town to the lake side, however, there is a lovely restaurant just opposite the hotel. The hotel was clean and friendly, and the room was very spacious. It was cleaned daily and we were provided with clean towels each morning. There was a good range of breakfast items available and the menu was good for both lunch and evening meals. We checked out before breakfast on the day we left, however the staff put a selection of items out on a table especially for us so that we didn't miss out. We were really touched, and appreciated this gesture. I would definitely recommend.

Towels for the pool were 1.50 euros per person per day. It would have been nice if the price of these were included. However, overall it was very good value for money.
