Pretty cold even with heaters on max. No reception, gotta go to the other hotel and got a room in the basment? never seen that before

There was not much to like for the price.

- The main sign outside states that this is not a hotel, but a motel. clearly the motel sign is the right one. - The location is right next to a busy road with a lot of ambulances going by. - The bathroom was in need of more then just surface cleaning. - The bed was equipped with summer duvets in winter time. - The room had a comfort temperature for penguins. - Poor material choice and finish of the construction. - Check in is normally done at a machine, since there is no staff. - The check in machine was out of service, so it had to be done at a hotel 200m away. - The 4 star hotel rating is without doubt for Hotel Vier Jahreszeiten, who owns VIVA hotel/motel. - Will not recommend.

I liked the cleanliness.

There was no reception at the Viva Hotel. The Internet connection was poor. Everytime the Internet connection was poor we had to go to the reception at Vierjahres zeiten Hotel and inform them. There was no landlines connection to call them to. I and my husband was there for a Business trip and we had to do a lot of work online and the internet connection was so poor that we didnot complete our work. The price was too high according to the poor service. I have lived in many cheap hotels where they even provide you with a landlines connection to connect to them. The price was really high than what it should have been charged. They took 176 Euro for a room in the basement for two nights. There was no shampoo no face wash. We are expected to wash our hair with a Hand-wash and our face too with a Hand-wash. May be they expect us to carry all the stuff with us while travelling. When I keep the windows closed then I expect them to be closed even after the room service. Through out the night I had no idea that the windows were open behind the curtains and I was really cold inspire of the heaters. They must know that certain things must be kept as it is. If I want to keep the windows open I will do it.

Spacey room, clean and comfortable.

Reception was in a separate building. A bit pricey, location not so good.

Wifi doesn’t work most of the times.

Close to the motorway for a stop-over, very spacious room, new and clean, 25 minutes by foot from the center. Lots of traffic but effective windows so no problem and good sound isolation from other rooms. Exactly what we needed.

Found a pyjama under my pillow (?). Instant coffee would have been nice.

Room is werry small, for 89€ i be so big shock for that what i see, bathroom/toilet be like without doors!!!!! Staff next day dont come and take rubish out and dont cange thovels, dont clean the room. I mast do that by self. I pay for all three nights same price but i think thats no fear,too big money for dont have hotel car parking and no cleaning no dors in the bath no friendly staf!!!!! I m werry bed thinking for that hotel. Not recomended!!!!

Comfy room. Nice lighting Big shower room. Digital entry system.

No reception in the hotel No restaurant. But the sister hotel restaurant was superb.

that was good for the money spent.

Internet connection was not at all reliable.
