Perfect for a quiet getaway. The property is remote and dated, but was a fantastic experience.

The location, it’s got a cosy feel whilst being big enough to house my extended family.

Some of the bowls/cups/cutlery needed a proper wash before they could be used - they had been put away dirty rather than a bit dusty from non use.

Spacious, comfortable,warm, well equipped.

The final part of the drive was really rough and passengers had to dismount and walk from the cattle grid to stop the car grounding. The exterior of the house is in poor repair and not welcoming. The garden was untidy.

A perfect little getaway with lots of character. Fantastic rooms and facilities; perfect to switch off and unwind!

There was no way to alter the timing on the heating, or give it a boost when we got in late at night and the cottage was cold. (We got into the habit of leaving the curtains closed to help retain the heat.)
