So incredibly peaceful. Exceptionally clean and the breakfast (order separately) is delicious. Perfect way to start my day.

De locatie was schitterend: prachtig uitzicht en goed gelegen tussen de wijngebieden en ook niet ver van Kaapstad. Ook fijne bediening en een zeer goed ontbijt.

The room was very clean and comfortable
Terrible check out experience with the owner/manager knocking on the door at 5 min intervals from 10:30 on the dot.
we said we were getting ready and would have been out shortly. We left the place 20min late, sorry, but I think chasing your guests out in that manner is very unprofessional.
very limited and tight parking lot. The sound travels easily among rooms so is not pleasant to hear other guests conversations.

we don’t like the carpets in the room. possibility to fall. our room was on the shadow side. No sun during the day. we did miss a real airco. we don’t like a fan above our head when we lay jn bed.

Die Anlage hat einen sehr schönen Pool & unser Host war sehr nett
Die Unterkunft bzw. das Zimmer hatte leider keine Klimaanlage. Aufgrund der Temperaturen (+35 °C Tagsüber und ca. 23°C Nachts) war es daher nicht komfortabel.
Frühstück wurde leider kurzfristig abgesagt; es gab aber einen Refund

we loved the private garden of the property, it felt very secluded. We also had great interaction with the hosts that were so welcoming and kind. The room itself was a positive surprise! We loved the quirky shape and the fact that it was so well equipped. We absolutely LOVED the firm beds.

- Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist für die Lage, Ausstattung und den Service herausragend!!!

This was my only complaint. My booking arrangement indicated that breakfast could be arranged at R150 per day but this had been cancelled and I had to take a taxi next morning to buy food to take with my tablets. I just suggest this is made clear on booking, or at least provide a few rusks. Otherwise I loved it hthere. Andre was most helpful

The place is situated in an incredibly quiet neighbourgood. It was very tranquil and made for a restful stay

Excellent location, beautiful views. Rooms/units are well maintained, well equipped, clean and comfortable.
Parking is difficult if you have a large car. Sound from other units and guests is quite prominent.

Host pleasant and helpful. Accommodation had everything we needed. Heaters to keep us warm were a bonus. The little kitchen was well equipped. Location is in a lovely area and not far from shops.

Great attention to detail. Very clean & neat with lots of plugs in convenient locations, soap at basin & in shower. Quiet area.

Lovely guest house in an established suburb with beautiful big trees. Good location with easy access to Somerset West, the R44 and Stellenbosch and the N2. Beautifully decorated room, very clean, serviced every day, comfortable bed with nice linen.
The parking is very awkward especially if the guest house is full. However, Andre is very hands-on and did everything possible to ensure no-one got parked in.

Towels in the room could have been changed or aired a bit more. Common areas like the patio and lounge a bit uninviting.

the property was in a very good location, and a very clean place. The owner was hospitable and went out of his way to make sure that we were comfortable and even got some food because we were leaving very early in the morning !

What an excellent find SomerZicht is. Lovely rooms with everything that one would need - and a restful night's sleep on a superbly comfortable bed. A great quiet location in Somerset West with easy access to areas like Stellenbosch and the bay coast.
Nothing to not like - SomerZicht is a great place to stay.
