The staff were excellent! The food was quite good. The place is organised and the staff keep track of all guests on the property. My highlight was the BATHROOM! Loved it!

In the morning there were lake flies in the pool, and that disrupted my morning swim.

Beautiful location and place, room (house) was very nice and spacious. Good pool, love the lace location. Day time only 15min by boat to airport.

We had informed the hotel multiple times that I would be arriving at a certain time at night. At night there are no boats, so we took a 90min (!) 50 USD taxi ride through the darkness (there were no flight day time arrivals, otherwise I would have chosen differently. We had talked to the lady on the phone while in the taxi yet when we arrived noone opened the gate! We tried calling and yelling... nothing, just darkness and the middle of nowhere! Taxi fortunately stayed. After 20min we were finally let in but noone was at the reception to check us in... after some more time we finally got our room. Nightmare arrival!

Great location with fantastic views of the lake. Boat trip to see the Shoobill’s was a highlight. Great rooms, food and really friendly staff.

Absolutely not worth money at all!!! No American should ever stay here!....honestly from the bottom of my heart the view is breath taking and the girl who ran the whole thing by herself was awesome....but everything else horrible i will never return!!

Everything but the view and the service

The quietness was heavenly. The lawns and hedges are well taken care of. The breakfast is great...fresh fruuts and juices. Staff were quite flexible, responsive and patient. The swimming pool is clean.

The hot water takes a long time to start flowing and when it does it is just lukewarm, especially in the morning. Also, the swings were removed thus reducing on the number of outdoor activities.

A breathe of fresh air! the staff are very welcoming, pleasant and happy to assist.

No slippers provided for guests , and the menu doesn’t have enough options. The swimming pool needs to be cleaned often too.

The rooms are neat and well done, the staff are friendly. The environment is serene. Food was well done. Generally a nice place to stay.

Their recommended boat has no proper safety precautions. Advised to work on this water transport issue. Would be better if the rooms had DSTV .

The food wasn’t very good. Poor choice and the grilled whole fish was wet and tasteless.

Just the scenery

The road to buvi is very terrible especially when it rains we nearly got an accident on our way there it is very Terrible Secondly the rooms are really dark

-We Expected Dstv and it was there -we expected sauna, steam birth and Gym and it wasn't there

The breakfast selection was very limited and the same for our entire stay for four days. The hotel needs to consider a buffet for breakfast and increase the choice.

The road to the property about 2 kilometers to the property the road is so slippery when it rains and needs to be repaired.

Totally enjoyed our stay. Very serene place with a to die for view of the lake; the staff were very helpful. Clean facilities. And the food was great. Great value for my money. Will definately come back.

The staff who went out of their way to make my wife's birthday amazing. Helen,Emma, Kasita, Chirscent, Peragia, Abibaga and Esther took amazing care of us.

The pillows were small

Beautiful hidden gem, with friendly staff. It's quiet place, we took a boat ride which was the cherry on top of the night away at Buvi Lodge.

The service is very slow, had to wait for over an hour to get breakfast yet we were sat in the restaurant. Need to put umbrellas at the pool.
