Alles was fantastisch ! Geweldige lokatie.super mooie omgeving.. alles schoon in de kamer, overal is aan gedacht. Fijn zwembad, heerlijk restaurant. Veel plekken waar je kan liggen om te genieten van de zon, de zee en de natuur. Het meest bijzonder is het hele team van Shantaa die er alles aan doen om het je zo fijn mogelijk te laten hebben. Niets is ze teveel.. ze hebben ons met veel dingen geholpen , altijd met een lach, met humor en gezellige gesprekkeN. Ik ga hier zeker terug komen!

Hôtel décoré avec goût, propre et maintenu. Chambres élégantes et la salle de bain était la meilleure qu’on est vu de tout le séjour Le terrain est très vaste, sensation de calme et d’espace avec les autres résidents. Petit déjeuner incroyable et piscine très agréable Vraiment meilleur hôtel de l’île!!

EVERYTHING! Shantaa is amazing, we booked one of the Shantaa Sweet Bungalows right in front of the beach, the view is stunning, the garden is well maintained, the room smelled so good when we arrived, the outdoor bathroom is very chic, the furniture and design of the room are so unique, the staff is always helpful and friendly, the breakfast is a la carte and super delicious!!! The beach area is very nicely decorated with a bar and a super view where you can enjoyed the sunset. Can’t wait to return there!

Peaceful, amazing views, beautiful rooms. In my opinion, it's the best hotel in Koh Kood even though it has no direct access to the real beach.

The only disadvantage is that it has no direct access to the beach, but the place is so beautiful that this becomes irrelevant.

Everything is perfect! Beautiful Accomodations, beach with amazing snorkelling at the rocks, great restaurant, lovely sunsets, I wish I could have stayed longer!

We got a really good deal due to COVID-19 situation and when we arrived there they gave us an upgrade to an amazing room, very private, in front of the ocean and with a really nice bathtub. We were almost alone at the hotel, so we had a great time enjoying the sound of the ocean, great food and beautiful view.

- Gorgeous and well kept property. - Food in the restaurant is absolutely amazing so you never would need to think of going elsewhere even if it's pricier than Thai norm - Breakfast was brilliant and bountiful - Some staff were very friendly - Useful moped rental to take day trips on the island (well worth it!) - Romantic setting and nicely decorated rooms and bathrooms - Lovely pool setting and a large perfectly fine beach nearby.

- Didn't get any information before coming on how to get there. You should prebook from the airport to Koh Kood avoid having to pay hefty transfer fees - 10% service charge on all items. Would prefer to offer tips for good service, as some service was not great.

Location and view were great. Food and restaurant/cafe great! Lovely pool. Came with friends and my 2 kids and it was just perfect for all.

Would have been great if it had a gym.

The resort was peaceful and beautiful. Good views throughout. Staff were always willing to help and took time to make sure everything was perfect. Freshly made buffet breakfast, lots of options of Thai and western food at dinner time. There was also free use of kayaks and plenty of free drinking water throughout the resort.

Service from staff and facility

From the arrival in a delightful lobby with a fresh beverage, to the 25meters white marble swimming pool (!!!), the top-level cuisine, the fact that every need will be covered with smile and exceptional service and details (your luggage will be transported to the room in a small covered trolley, so that the rain does not touch it - scooters for rent at a very decent price directly from the hotel - fantastic beds and furniture, very good wifi even at the pool (!) ...), the paradise-garden everywhere, attention to detail and family spirit (it is not a big impersonal complex), YOU WILL NOT FIND A BEST HOTEL in this island, perhaps even in the country. Did I mention the white marble pool ?

Perhaps that the semi-exterior bathtub could be changed, the sun attacks starts to be visible on it. BUT the room and bathroom were perfect otherwise, so a small detail does not represent the overall exceptional stay.

A bit pricey but worth it

Shantaa Koh Kood felt like paradise! It looks better in person. My partner and I hopped on a scooter (for the first time) which we hired from Shantaa and it was great, we got to explore the island and when coming back to our accomodation, we felt like we were home. The resort really feels like a slice of paradise, it has everything you need to get away from the city and have an extended period of time by the ocean. Food was incredible at the restaurant and so were all the drinks. We had 7 nights stay and still missed out parts of the menu (we tried almost everything). The staff were really lovely and helpful, especially Sky and Oo!

We really don't have anything we did not like about our stay at Shantaa Koh Kood. It really was a pleasant and peaceful stay.

shantaa is truly a piece of heaven! from the decor to the staff to the food everything was just absolutely perfect. we loved every minute and we’re very sad when we had to leave
