Characterful building, great location

Lack of transparency on exchange rates and pricing, that wasn't described in the listing. No idea why, but they charge double the price in pesos if you pay cash, other than to extract maximum money from foreigners. Also surprised to get hit with a new 10% credit card fee on the extra date we added, that we didn't get upfront.

Comfortable beds and great staff. Good showers. Great location. The hostel is beautiful with many original features.

A bit pricey. Gas was out for several days so we couldn’t cook. Electric and Wi-Fi went out several times but there was very heavy rain so I think this was not normal. Lockers in bedrooms need to be fixed - the part where you place the padlock is broken off of most of them.

Élégant and old fashioned hôtel, a mix of comtempory and old styled. Good location for night life. A bit far from the city, however. The patio,the plants,decoration

Some members of the staff, a woman who was at the frontdesk, I dont know her name. No smile, and make you feel you are not welcomed. A cold attitude. OK, for the others members, however. Also, the fact that the cleaning of the kitchen and the bathroom is arround 9.a.m. When you want to use them... So, impossible to use them, you will have to leave the place, andlet the cleaning staff to do their job, instead you are a customer. I spent 10 night in the hôtel. Why not to ask the cleaning staff to come at 11.a.m,or 1.p.m,for example ? It could have some noise sometimes late in the night arround the doors of the room, in the patio(downstairs.) (People who were playing guitare and singing, at 1 or 2 a. m). In the room upstairs, thé Windows are thin, so noisy in the night(trafic jam,people shouting and making fiesta in the streets arround.

reception could take a long time to unlock the door. bathrooms need updating. very little soundproofing - lots of loud conversations happening outside the dorm at night, and the window was stuck open so I could hear everything

Most of the crew nice, nice bed's and facilities. Very good quality, nows English, great location.

The AC was in 2 parted room so its got mostly for one part of the room

the property itself is gorgeous and the design is excellent

the staff were quite rude and unhelpful. I also booked this particular hostel for its location, in the tourist area, as I don’t speak Spanish (partly my own fault!) I assumed in the touristy area staff would have even very very basic English to at least discuss the booking.. I struggled to converse with 90% of the staff even just about the booking/ rates etc and I wasn’t the only guest during this stay that had felt like this.

The comfort and overall ambience was amazing. the pool was great, kitchen is nice, beds are comfortable and the room has nice air conditioning. Great value for money.

great shower, spacious beds with curtains and built-in sockets & beautiful building and roof terrace.

They tried to charge us the blue rate instead of the official rate, when we wanted to pay cash in pesos. this is very strange and might even be illegal. They said it was normal… We’ve never had this in any other place in Argentina. And when we decided to pay by credit card, they still charged us a higher rate than the official one. Also, we weren’t able to lock the door to our room so anybody could have walked in…

Location, it was clean and comfortable.

I didn't even know who worked there as it was impossible to distinguish from travellers. you have to buzz in and someone had to come an open so I felt a bit like a burden. My shirt went missing and they said they would get back to me about it but they never did.

The location is central and quiet beatiful facilities

The price quote on the booking is wrong and confusing to find out the quote originally given than doubles once confirmed. Paying in credut was discouraged and i payed. In usd than given back change in a lower exchange rate the taken for payment.

I absolutely loved this hostel. Great location and terrific staff.
