This is a beautiful house overlooking some great views of connemara. The only issue being that it's rurual it requires a car in order to do any activities. Overall a great trip!

Beautiful house, in beautiful part of the world! The house was exceptional well prepared for our stay and catered to all of our needs. Just like being at home. Looking forward to returning to Tullycross!

Wonderful views, nice beaches nearby, space for children to play at back of house as well as full facilities for cooking and eating, particularly liked the full size dining table.

We had a great time with our friends in a lovely part of Connemara. House had everything what you needed with the nice and cosy fireplace and candles in the sitting room. Renvyle beach is only 7 minutes drive. Thank you and we definitely gonna be back:)

The house was well appointed and comfortable. If you are looking for a peaceful place to lay your head; this is it.

This is a perfect property for folks looking for that relaxing, rejuvenating stay, yet you won't sacrifice much in the way of modern convenience. Updated kitchen with everything you'd expect, most of it brand new. Two nice bathrooms with large showers and a tub. A really nice living area with a fantastic view! Satellite TV if you are so inclined and a large dining area, also with a great view! What seems like endless bedrooms with comfortable spots in a bed for eight people. Just lots of room and all of it with new stuff to make your stay easy. That being said, we had two small issues, both of which turned into wins for the property and the owner. On day one, the WiFi wasn't working and I called the owner and he answered, and had it topped up within 10 minutes and no other issues for the next 6 days - worked perfectly. On day 2 we tripped an electrical breaker and thought it wouldn't reset. Again, the owner responded immediately and within 10 minutes had an emergency electrician appointment scheduled. Fortunately, upon the second attempt, I was able to get the breaker to reset, the electrician was cancelled and all was well for the next 5 days. Things can go wrong with anything, it's how they are handled that matters. The owner could not have been more responsive and made extra effort to see that our holiday went smoothly. As for the area, it's a bit remote, which for us was great. If you're viewing properties in this area chances are you'll be pleased with what this location affords. Great ocean views everywhere, cliffs, beaches, islands, mountains - it's all there. Yet there are groceries, pubs, restaurants and other activities within 5-8 minute drive. If you're willing to drive 20ish minutes, you've got all you want. We've stayed in several HomeAway and other private rental properties in the U.S., the U.K., and Ireland. With a little research and effort we've always managed to find gems - this property is right there with all of them and had fantastic owner response - definitely 5 STARS across the board!

The views from the living room are marvellous, the first night we all sat in front of the window watching the clouds and the occasional sun. The house is spacious and very clean, with good facilities like an espresso machine. The beaches around the area are gorgeous!

Great location for our needs. Rooms were nice and roomy. Had an issue with a couple of issues one being with the bathrooms lock and the other was with the internet and both issues were taken care of promptly. Kitchen met all of our needs along with the dining and family room space. Views from family room and front porch were great. A nice sunset vista. Thanks again..

What a beautifull, compleet house on a perfect location. We had a great time.

Location was perfect. House was comfortable and well appointed. House wasn’t serviced before we arrived. Bed were changed but bathrooms were dirty. Ashes still in the fireplace and no vacuuming done.

We loved this house - clean, warm, comfortable, plenty of hot water and well equipped. The treasure is the view - absolutely beautiful from dawn to dusk on a clear day. The peaceful location is perfect for stunning beaches close by, touring Connemara and Kylemore Abbey. There are two twin bedrooms and two doubles so it does sleep eight comfortably. The bathroom, dining area and kitchen are spacious and modern. There is a great little grocery shop in the petrol station at Tully Village nearby. Bring your own books, games or toys for kids. Families with small children would need to take care at the front of the house because the grass area is steep and slopes to the road. We would love to return to this house again, thank you for a wonderful stay.

One word — tranquillity.

Imagine waking each morning with your view filled with the ocean and sky! This comfortable, well appointed home offers just that. It’s a good base for touring the Connemara coast the beautiful surrounding area. We were warmly welcomed and also given assistance in finding a doctor when when one of our group was feeling ill. Our group of 6 friends was very happy here.

This home could not be in a more beautiful, picturesque location. The kitchen is very large and beautiful. We truly enjoyed our stay here.

Lovely, spacious house with fantastic views.

The view from the house was stunning! Picture perfect. Was so nice to have a washer and dryer and iron available. I would love to stay at this property again. We had guests stay with us. Our daughter's wedding was on Glassillaun Beach and the property was nearby.

Fantastic home located on the Connemara Loop Road, just about 2km away from Tully Cross. David's home was a pleasure to stay in. This recently renovated, well maintained home has all you need for you and your family or friends to make a relaxing base to explore the enchanting Connemara region. But you'll find it hard to leave the house due to the extraordinary views of the Atlantic through the big picture window in the living room! The house is exactly as described and David could not have been more helpful. We only dealt with him over the phone but he was very responsive working through a small issue we had and could not have been nicer. We also meet his Aunt who was a delight and made sure we had every thing we needed. The immediate area is delightful. Highly recommend Paddy Coyne's as well as the Angler's Rest in Tully Cross for great food, drink and conversation! So much to explore in this region of Ireland. Can't wait to return and have another stay in David's home!

Wir waren in der letzten Maiwoche 2016 in dem Ferienhaus. Es war sehr schön und die Aussicht war grandios. Es war alles super sauber und das ganze Haus wirkte wie neu. Wir hatten super Wetter und der Vermieter David Gibbons war sehr nett und hat alles getan damit wir uns wohl fühlen. Wir können das Ferienhaus jedem wärmstens empfehlen.
