Der Check-Out war ganz in Ordnung.
Die Heizung im Badezimmer hat funktioniert und es war ausreichend Wasserdruck in der Dusche.
Der Rest steht unten unter "was hat Ihnen nicht gefallen".
Der Check-In war sehr unfreundlich.
Sauberkeit:
Die Zimmer waren sehr schmutzig. Mit sehr schmutzig meinen wir:
Haare von mehreren Personen im Badezimmer auf dem Boden, der Wand, der Toilette, in der Dusche, dann Haare im Bett auf dem Fußboden iim Zimmer.
Sehr grobe Verschmutzungen: eine eingestaubte "E-Zigarette" auf dem Fußboden von einem der Vorgänger, neben weiterem Dreck und Haaren, wir vermuten unter anderem Hundehaaren.
Der Sessel im Zimmer war mit Krümeln bedeckt.
Die Teppiche im Hotel-Flur waren dreckig.
Den Sauna-Bereich haben wir uns dann aus Gründen gar nicht erst angeschaut.
Das Zimmer war ausgekühlt, die Heizung hat auch in der einen Nacht nicht ausreichend gewärmt.
Einzel-Bett-Bettlaken auf einem Doppelbett.
Das Frühstücksbuffet war lieblos, der Käse und die Wurst vom Discounter. Die Buffet war nicht ausreichend beschriftet.
Wir haben dann nach einer Nacht bereits wieder ausgescheckt, obwohl wir zwei Nächte gebucht hatten.
Nie wieder, dieses Hotel hat seine vier Sterne nicht verdient!

Sehr netter und freundlicher Empfang, zentral gelegen für Ausflüge ins Siebengebirge und Schiffstouren auf dem Rhein oder für einen Zwischenstopp bei Wanderung auf dem Rheinsteig,
ruhig gelegen im Kurgebiet.
Bad, insbesondere Dusche ist schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen,
bei der Ankunft war etwas schlechte Luft aus Badlüftung im Zimmer, nach Fensterlüftung wurde es besser.

Clean and comfortable hotel about a 30 minute drive to Cologne, set in a very nice resort-style city. Very quiet area. Room clean, a, bit on the small side, basically one double bed (they do not have twins, so take this into consideration) one desk and one TV. Room cleaned daily, heat was working. Great breakfast everyday, better then the room. Everything in their lobby mini-shop was crazy expensive (think 6 euros for a bottle of water). Decent on-site bar and restaurant. All in all I would come back again.
Front desk a little bit 'cold', thou efficient. Meaning no response to 'hello' or any other interaction during our stay. When asked or engaged, they were courteous. Parking is either paying (hourly, city parking on the street) or you need to pay to the hotel for using their parking, 12 euros/day.

The hotel is spatious and modern. Good wifi. It was very quiet at night, because the rooms are well isolated: no noise from neighbouring rooms or from outside. The room was clean. Breakfast was generous. Staff was very friendly and a defect in the bathroom was fixed immediately after reporting.
For people who plan to walk the Rheinsteig: it is a bit far from the starting point of the etappe.

Lovely breakfast offering with lots of choice. Very comfortable beds and good cleanliness. Bright bedroom with big windows too. Unfortunately I didnt have an opportunity to use the swimming and spa facilities.
Only thing I didn't like is the interior design/decor. This isn't a big problem for me! But it felt grey and empty in some places, particularly the corridors.

it’s well located, staff are very helpful and really go out of their way to make you welcome. Rooms are comfortable and clean. Dogs were welcome which was great!
Being charged extra for parking and for the use of the pool or sauna as a hotel guest. This feels mean particularly as the pool is used for local children’s swimming lessons as well.

The bar tender was funny and very welcoming.
We also really like all the little touches of sustainability.
The room floor was a bit dirty, we were told that the restaurant would be open at 6pm until 8pm but when we went it wasn't open and didn't look like it would be opening any time soon.

We booked a Superior room with the confirmation for an extra bed unfortunately when arrived there wasn't enough space for the extra beed and the room was just a double.

Overall a good experience. We loved the location, big modern room, lots of history, beautiful town, nice restaurants and shops and the Rhein nearby.
Cleanliness could be better. Dirty stain on curtain and chairs, dust on sofa chairs. Work table, doorknobs and light switches felt sticky. Also the room above the entrance can be a little noisy from guests coming and going.

Nice location close to the Rhein promenade, tram stop and a small park. We had booked an apartment, which was spacious and clean.
The breakfast was OK, but at times it was so busy that we could not find a table. The drinks one could buy from next to the reception, were locked and for 1 part, the personel could not find the key. Parking in the garage was 12 euro per night.
