Sant'Angelo Guesthouse
Situato nel rione Borgo, a soli 600 metri dalla Basilica di San Pietro e a 100 metri da Castel Sant’Angelo, il nostro appartamento è la location ideale per chi desideri non solo visitare monumenti e luoghi storici romani ma anche poter ammirare la città eterna vestita dei colori e delle luci più diversi.
A tre minuti a piedi dall'appartamento potrete difatti godere dei più bei tramonti sul Tevere nonché ammirare lo spettacolo offerto dalla cupola di San Pietro che vi apparirà di sorpresa lasciandovi col fiato in sospeso.
L'appartamento si trova al pian terreno di un elegante edificio anni ‘20 al centro di Roma. Dispone di quattro ampie camere (18 mq). Lo stile sobrio e contemporaneo delle stanze appena ristrutturate è stato studiato per offrire ai nostri ospiti ogni confort nel rispetto dell’ambiente e in armonia col contesto storico della location.
I materiali sono stati scelti per rendere gli ambienti luminosi e caldi.
Le pavimentazioni in gres porcellanato sono facilmente lavabili e donano alle stanze lo stesso calore del parquet in armonia con i soffitti in mattoni a vista della sala comune. Gli ampi letti matrimoniali (180 per 200 cm) o doppi sono realizzati con reti a doghe rinforzate e materassi Dorelan (in poliuretano e ignifughi). Tutte le camere sono dotate di controllo elettronico che, in vostra assenza, disattiva automaticamente l’impianto elettrico favorendo così il massimo risparmio energetico.
L’impianto di condizionamento a pompa di calore è composto di unità autonome Daikin con inverter a modulazione di potenza e basso consumo.
Tutte le camere sono dotate di cassaforte, minibar, bagno privato con doccia e bidet, TV LCD con canali via cavo e via satellite, asciugacapelli, aria condizionata.
In tutti gli ambienti è possibile collegarsi ad internet tramite wifi gratuito.

The Guest House was the perfect place for 4 couples to stay while in Rome. Loved the neighborhood. Restaurants are close and were outstanding.

6 of us (family and close friends) stayed here for 5 days as our first stop in Italy. It perfectly suited our needs . Everyone had their own space but we could visit in the living room and kitchen . It was comfortable and had everything we needed. Also great location. Close to Vatican and easy to get to all the sights of Rome . Francesca was quick to reply to any questions and a lovely welcoming host. A great way to make us comfortable to start our trip to Italy.

We only stayed 2 nights in Francesca's lovely apartment.
Our group of 8 included 2 families of 4 with adult children. There was just enough room for us to gather together in the common area downstairs as well as enjoy privacy in 1 of the 4 bedrooms with en suite bathroom. The apartment was clean and comfortable and situated in a very nice, walkable neighborhood.
Francesca was a pleasure to work with! Communication throughout was wonderful. Our morning flight arrived earlier than the apartment was able to be prepared for us, but, Francesca met us there, checked us in and accommodated us by allowing us to drop off all our belongings. We were able to head out to enjoy the city and our 11:45 Vatican tour!
Apartment is located within an easy walk to Vatican City and approximately 20 minute walk to the Spanish Steps.
All in all, we had a very enjoyable stay in Sant' Angelo Guesthouse.

We had a wonderful time in Roma and this VRBO had a lot to do with it! Easy to find, great location-close to shopping, food, gelato and the Vatican! Great air conditioning and comfortable beds. The host was wonderful to work with! Definitely recommend!

The rooms were very clean, quiet, stylishly decorated, and Francesca was a fantastic host! She was very helpful and understanding when we were delayed on check in time and provided us with helpful information regarding transportation and places to eat. The location was great for walking to many points of interest as well as restaurants in Rome. Highly recommended!!

The 4 bedrooms were excellent for our kids and family or would be perfect for 4 couples staying together. The family/dining area was more spacious than appeared on the pictures and could easily accurate our 8 plus another 4 guests for hanging out. The neighborhood is wonderful with a great restaurant 20 steps outside the door and multiple grocery stores and other restaurants 1-2 blocks away. The Vatican was an easy 5-6 block walk for the Sunday angelus and Wednesday audience, just recommend showing up 1.5-2hours early to get a good spot for each. The kitchen is small but accommodates a light breakfast and cappuccino with ease.

This apartment is in a great location and Francesca was a great host! Arrival was very easy and she was available for questions during our stay. It doesn't have much of a kitchen and refrigerator is pretty small but you are in Rome-you're not going to be cooking anyway. Bedrooms are large and a great gathering space downstairs. We needed four bedrooms and this place was perfect for us. Would definitely recommend it.

This property was a great location, great accommodations and the host was super helpful! Would definitely book there again. Only thing I would add is a full size refrigerator and tissues for guests who have the entire family staying.

My family and I (My parents, adult siblings, and sibling-in-laws) all stayed here and had plenty of space. the setup includes 4 individual bedrooms with connected bathrooms, and a shared living room / kitchen. The kitchen was a little small if you wanted to use it to cook, but it was great for our purposes. Also, the air conditioning worked great, and was a great relief during the august heat.
Location was also awesome, It was very close to the Vatican (5 minute walk). We were able to walk everywhere from this location - even all the way to the Colosseum!
Francesca was an amazing host. She helped us arrange transportation to the cruise terminal, let us drop off our bags before check in so we didn't have to lug them around town, allowed us to check in early, and was extremely helpful with recommendations and advice.
I highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to visit Rome and has a larger group!

This place was excellent! Perfect location and very comfortable amenities. Francesca was one of the best hosts we have ever had. Excellent communication and making sure we had transportation to the unit. She was waiting outside for us when we arrived and greeted us with a friendly smile. She walked us through the apartment to make sure we knew how everything worked. Would highly recommend staying here!

Rome stay
8 mature adults (4 couples) began our Italian adventure in Rome. Our trip was off to an excellent start with Francesca’s help. She arranged for van pickup at airport upon arrival. She was there to greet us at the apartment and answer any questions. The apartment is somewhat smaller than appears in photos although the bedrooms are spacey. The kitchen is tiny - wouldn’t want to fix a meal there but it was adequate for us as we mostly ate out. There is a small refrigerator and hot plates. We never could get the Nescafé coffee pot to work correctly so either drank instant or went to coffee shop around the corner. The location is wonderful - a few blocks from Vatican. It was definitely a lovely time and highly recommend.

Great Place to Stay!
Perfect for our family of 4 couples. Franchesca was so helpful and a joy to work with! The place was fabulous! Location was great for us. Shopping, restaurants, and the places we wanted to see were easy to get to. The apartment was very comfortable. So much nicer than staying in a hotel! I would definitely recommend and would stay here again!

Clean comfortable space in a perfect location
The space was just as advertised. Spacious, clean, and perfectly located. Our group of four couples spent four terrific days in the flat. All of central Rome and the Vatican are within easy walking distance. Great neighborhood with lots of good restaurants and shopping. Francesca and Carolina were great to work with across the whole experiences. Can’t recommend highly enough.

Amazing 4 Bedroom / 4 Bathrooms in Rome
I was looking for a property that could accommodate 4 couples and when I first stumbled upon this property, it seemed almost too good to be true. Everything was as perfect as it seemed online. Francesca is the most thoughtful, gracious host.
She provided us with all the information we needed and showed us around and also organized our transfer to the airport. The property is perfect and very very clean! The kitchen contains everything one needs.
The bedrooms and bathrooms are a large size for an apartment in Rome. We all had our individual rooms with bathrooms and were able to lock our rooms. In each room, there was a safety box and air conditioning. The location is incredible, around the corner from the Vatican and Castel San'Angelo and walking distance to the main attractions in Rome.
Francesca had excellent recommendations on what to do in Rome and how to get around. She went way beyond to make our stay comfortable and memorable.

A real Gem
Owner was extremely friendly, helpful, and easy to work with. Worked checkin around our arrival. Apartment was lovely and well maintained. Extremely happy with our stay, would definitely recommend.

Perfect location
The location was excellent. Walking distance to St Peter's, the Vatican, Castle of the Angels... Our family was multi generational and the 4 bedrooms with the 4 baths in each bedroom was ideal for us. Air conditioning was a plus as it was in the 90's every day.

Spacious, clean easily accessible apartment
We had a wonderful stay at the apartment. Francesca was very helpful and responsive in her communication. We rented the entire apartment and it was very comfortable for the 8 of us and very clean. The location is a great spot to walk to most sites.

Some things great, some fell short
Pros: A/C worked perfectly. This was the most important factor in the extreme heat. All areas other than the kitchen were perfectly clean. Neighborhood/location is wonderful. Property manager was prompt, friendly and responsive.
Cons: Wifi was so-so in upstairs bedrooms. Many of the dishes and appliances in the kitchen were dirty. Lower living area and bedrooms had a musty smell. Beds were very hard (I realize this a personal preference). Bedding was clean but not at all luxurious. So, while some things completely lived up to expectations, some did not.

Family Trip
We arrived in the evening and the Property Manager Francesca was there waiting to set us up. The property was neat and clean and well stocked to get us started. Francesca helped us with restaurant suggestions and also helped with reservations!!! Beyond her duties. The property was within walking distance and a short taxi ride to all the places we wanted to see. Would definitely recommend!!!

A cozy apartment in a quiet neighborhood
We loved our stay in Rome. The cozy apartment offered plenty of space and privacy for our family of 8. Lots of restaurants and gelato nearby. Close to grocery stores, St Peter’s Basilica and the Vatican, and right on the bus line for easy access to the other side of the river. Hated to leave and would definitely recommend to others.

Great Apartment near the Vatican
We had a great stay at the Guesthouse Sant’Angelo in the Rione XXII Prati neighborhood of Rome. Francesca and Carolina were great hostesses, who met us during check-in, made sure that the apartment was already stocked with milk, coffee, and pastries for breakfast, offered to take us to the market for more groceries and also offered to make dinner reservations for us. They gave us recommendations for a dozen good restaurants within a 5-10 minute walk of the apartment, as well as a few places closer to the center of Rome. The neighborhood is very safe. It’s an easy 5 minute walk to St. Peter’s Square, if you want to visit either St. Peter’s Basilica and/or the Vatican Museums. It’s about a 5 minute walk to the taxi stand at Piazza Cavour, a 10 minute walk to the nearest Metro stop (Ottaviano), and about a 20 minute walk to Piazza Navona (the closest of the central Rome sites of interest). The apartment is beautifully appointed, and each of the four bedrooms has a bathroom and a comfortable queen-size bed. Our mixed-age family of seven had a pleasant stay, and we would definitely come back again!

Beautiful apartment in a great location with 4 large private bedrooms
Francesca met us upon our arrival and made us very comfortable in the apartment. Our stay was short, only one night, but we found the location to be very convenient in a nice neighborhood. I appreciated having access to the coffee machine and the pods were provided. Lovely apartment, very clean, and I would definitely stay here again on my next trip to Rome!

Great apartment in a great location!
Very spacious and comfortable apt in walking distance to many local highlights including the Vatican, Trevi Fountain, Pantheon and more! Francesca was very accommodating and helpful and made us feel at home! Would stay again if we are lucky enough to return to Rome!

What a great property!
What a great place to stay in Rome. Located in a great safe neighborhood, close to The Vatican. Besides the large modern bedrooms and adjoining baths, property includes a nice dining/lounge area for getting together. Easily accommodated our party of ten. There are many great restaurants close by. Carolina and Federica were so nice and accommodating. We had a great time.
