My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our time here… comfortable beds, cozy den area which is perfect for young children, and a well stocked kitchen. We also appreciated the fact that all bathrooms had been updated! Having stayed at several Shipwatch condos through the years, I must say this one is my favorite!!

Very comfortable and clean. Easy access to beach. Nicely surprised that there was a wagon and some chairs there to take to the beach. Only thing we needed that wasn’t there was a corkscrew. Would highly recommmend.

Beautiful and cozy condo!
We had a fabulous week at Shipwatch! Great location tucked away in the gated Wild Dunes community. The condo was an end unit, which I love! Directly up one flight of the stairs on the first floor. It had comfortable beds and couches, great balcony furniture, and beautifully renovated bathrooms. We had 5 people total. The kids enjoyed having bunk beds, and my mom, who stayed in the queen guestroom, loved her walk-in shower. A short walk to the beach with a nice, big pool for the kids to enjoy when they were tired of the sand! Overall, we loved this rental and would love to come back in the future!!

Great location and easy access to the beach
Property was clean and spacious and easy access to the beach and pool. Thoroughly enjoyed the stay. Highly recommend that you have a car for your stay. Bring your own beach towels as they are not included in the rental and you will need several additional kitchen items and supplies as well as your own cleaning supplies for the week.

Great unit
We have stayed in Wild Dunes many times over the last twenty years.This unit by far one of the best for the money.Clean,nice floor plan,good view of pool and some of ocean.We will return.Every thing was in excellent working order.Internet is fast and reliable.

Comfortable condo, great location
The condo was clean, nicely decorated, and in a great location with a short walk to the beach and a beautiful pool. The kitchen is lacking storage and is not very well stocked with cooking necessities.

Five out of Five Stars!
Prior to our trip, we had a couple of questions, which were answered cheerfully and promptly each time. Upon arrival, we found check-in to be remarkably easy, and when we entered the home, we were greeted by a beautiful and immaculately clean space.
The building is next to a nice pool area and has a short walk to the beach (five minutes or less.) You can see the Atlantic from the unit, plus there is a playground for families with small children, between the pool and the boardwalk to the beach.
The property comes with beach chairs, sand buckets, boogie boards, etc, which are stored in an outdoor closet; the kitchen was equipped with everything we needed. All anyone needs to bring are clothes, beach towels, and a few groceries!
This was a great vacation, and we would definitely recommend this place to our family and friends.

Great location!
This condo is just steps to the beach and the pool is right by the condo for a quick afternoon swim. The condo has everything you need - from coffee maker to beach wagon, beach chairs and sand toys. We enjoyed our stay a lot!

Beach Golf Weekend
Property was nice but in need of some tlc/updating. Furniture covers and rugs were worn and stained. Dining area floor need to be swept as there were crumbs and chip remnants under the table. The patio table was also dirty so we did not use it. Nothing horrible, just not what we'd expect for the price. Location was great if you want to walk to the beach. The overall resort was very quiet with no real 'walk to' amenities like restaurants or coffee shops, so we travelled to Mount Pleasant or Charleston when we wanted to go out to dinner. Overall it was OK.

Wild Dunes Shipwatch Fall Break
Very nice condo, spacious, and clean. Great location on first floor by pool. Just two minor problems - we were not given a car pass which the company promptly fixed, and we were not given the pool access code. The only information we could find (posted on the refrigerator) said "no pool code needed". We had to call the office to get a code after several attempts to access the locked gate. Additionally, the note at door stated the cost to replace a lost pool pass was $45 while the note on the refrigerator said a lost pass is a $25 charge. Information just needs updating.

In the online description, it states that we had ocean view. I even called Sweetgrass Properties to ask if we had a great ocean view. There was no ocean view in this property.
Also, pool was filthy and needed to be cleaned after 2nd day of our stay. We just eventually stopped going to pool bc it wasn’t being cleaned.

Beautiful end unit with ocean views
This beautiful end unit provides extra windows for plenty of natural light. It has easy access to the elevator and stairwell and plenty of parking. The unit is well maintained and kitchen is fully stocked. The deck provides seating for a morning cup of coffee, reading a book, and a game of cards. We had wonderful views of the property, pool, and ocean. This unit is at the top of our list for a return visit.

Family Escape
Our family really enjoyed our stay at this condo and at Wild Dunes. The condos kitchen came stocked with everything we needed for cooking meals for our family. We actually brought extra pans due to our experience at other rentals, however we did not need them. The condo also had a closet full of beach toys, chairs and umbrellas. The condos pool and beach were just what were looking for. Wild Dunes has a lot to offer and we had a great time exploring.

Great place
This condo is beautiful and very comfortable. Bed sizes provide a variety of options for sleeping arrangements. The kitchen is well equipped. Access to parking and pool and beach is easy. We didn't need to bring beach equipment because the closet had all we needed! We had a wonderful time and would definitely stay here again!

Girls Getaway
Great place for a girls getaway or for the family. Very clean and quiet. Beach wasn’t crowded and we found some great shells. Plenty of room. Nicely decorated and easy access in and out. Only wish was that the pool stay open past sunset- maybe til 930 or 10. A late night swim would have been nice. Overall wonderful place and great trip!

Super clean, nicely decorated condo that has been recently updated.
We enjoyed our stay with the baby pool and the playground which were nice additions for our small grandson. Everything was convenient except the ocean but it’s the same for all of Wild Dunes. Definitely would rent again.

Great location and amenities!
The condo is an end unit on the first floor, so it’s easy access and has lots of light. It overlooks the pool and beach. The condo is very clean and looks to be recently remodeled - the bathrooms have all been nicely redone. We had a great stay with our 17 year old daughter and her friend. The girls loved the pool, and I thought it was great that there is also a children’s pool and a little playground, so it’s good for all ages. We would definitely stay again!

The condo was very clean & organized. We had 6 people stay g here & it was perfect.
The beach view was minimal but it was nice that we could leave the door open to the balcony & here the ocean. You could see the pool from the balcony. The kitchen was equipped with most everything you would need for preparation of a full meal & dining area easily accommodates 6 people & 4 people at the bar. We would definitely stay here again.

Adequate and Lovely
First let me begin by saying the management company for this property, Sweetgrass Property, was amazing. They answered every question and concern, when we had a plumbing issue they had a plumber there within an hour, when we asked for better pillows, they, too, were there almost immediately. They responded by texts and kept us in the loop. Congrats to them for remarkable customer service.
The property itself is unremarkable but fine. Wild Dunes is a fabulous resort. The pool was clean and beautiful. The beach—-so large since the beach restorations—-and truly lovely. It is a bit of a walk out to the beach, which was fine for me but if someone is a little weak or out of shape, it may feel like a stretch.
As far as the condo itself, there are details that could be attended to which would help. The patio furniture is much too large for the small balcony which made it almost impossible to move around or even use...except for the table area which was fine if one could climb over the much too large chairs and ottomans. The twin beds were so hard—-and I like a hard bed. It would have helped if they had had mattress covers with just a little padding. The flimsy sheets on the bare mattresses felt weird. The main room is a mishmash of furniture. Nothing bad. Just not a feeling of warmth or attention to detail. The kitchen was adequate. We had everything we needed. So would I rent here again. Maybe? With a little more attention to the detail, especially the comfort of the beds. Again, Sweetgrass Property gets an A+. The owners of the unit could invest a little to make this a better place.
