Lovely setting, fantastic room with comfortable bed. Breakfast was great and the owner was very friendly & helpful and even went out to collect our takeaway for us as the restaurant was closed due to a wedding being held there that day.

The taxi service albeit exceptionally friendly and helpful is over priced for the distance. Hotel is not walking distance to any other amenities or restaurants.

our room was rather dark and for a superior deluxe room very basic the whole place must have been magnificent in its heyday but is now rather tired. The website needs updating - no shuttle car to the beach or private beach club and very reliant on taxi pick ups . Their local driver although very charming tended to overcharge

Staff were really helpful. Building and surrounding grounds are interesting and offer a glimpse of the colonial past

Swimming pool was filthy. Wifi was almost non-existent, impossible to work online or have a videocall. When I complained about this, the owner of the property tried to tell me that no wifi was "par for the course" in the Caribbean. It became clear that this was not the case when I moved into a hotel near the coast a few days later which had excellent wifi. Location of this property is really inconvenient if you do not have a car.

It is in the outskirts of Bridgetown so not very attractive outside the property. Very noisy cockerels at night

Beds were comfortable, room was clean, plantation house was charming.

Location OK - nothing really within walking distance, so you would be best to get a car rather than relying on taxis etc. Skip breakfast, it wasn't really anything special. Rooms cleaned at weird times, so we only got ours serviced once in 5 nights. Hard to get food unless arranged way in advance, no minibar in rooms or snacks available. Wifi signal was not good. Place looks a lot nicer online than in reality.

One night stop as travelling to another Island, but a good nights stay.

The house and grounds are lovely. The staff are terrific.

The owner is not a hospitality person at all. He makes it known it’s a polo club but does not like horses. They are just a tool. Breakfast are way overpriced for what is served.
