Excellent accomodation! So beautifully clean and a fantastic size for a family. Excellent communication and quick correspondence with the owner! So helpful and friendly, even turned in the heat pump before arrival to make it cosy when we arrived. it’s a home away from home with wonderful amenities and more! I can’t recommend it highly enough! Wonderful port view and sun rises and sunsets over the sea! Fantastic location so central to everything and very close to main centre. Many thanks!

roomy, excellent bathrooms

situated overlooking the near by harbour, train tracks, generally an industrial area, the night noise was unbearable the worst two nights I have ever had , the enormous silo that dominated the view from the bedrooms made the loudest engine drone noise you could imagine. Shunting trains, loading and general dock noise all through the night topped off by being flood lit. unfortunately for us the nights were very hot so we had to have the windows open but the noise was still loud even when the windows were closed.

The Jewel on The Terrace Spacious, fully equipped, homely, central, warm, bright with an amazing view. Incredible value for money. Our kids loved it. A must stay if you like that homely feel but still like feeling you're on holiday

Room and toilet. Clean and comfortable like own house. Nice decoration.

Living hall and kitchen. The furniture was a bit old and kitchen utensils were not organised.

The Terrace Apartment is a Harbour-Side sea cottage, it overlooks the Port of Timaru. The apartment has extensive views to the South & North, but vision is restricted to the East because of a huge Silo. You soon get used to the Silo, as the Harbour Views, watching ships come & go & the Tugs busily plying their trade of pushing & pulling ships into the wharfs takes over your line of sight. The Town Centre of Timaru is 260metres walk & there are 2 pubs within that range.

Timaru is a working harbour 24/7. You should be prepared for this sort of environment & the occasional noise of ships & cargo transports arriving, However if you like a maritime environment & the smell of the sea this is a top locale.

Fantastic property, walking distance to all things central.

Street parking is only 120min but that's more of a Timaru council dislike than towards the property

Location perfect for us - one block from main street was great for shopping and for restaurants.

The big 'tower cylinder' right in front blocking harbour view! But nothing the Terrace Apartments ownership can do re this!!!
