Fantastic villa in a great location, very clean and comfortable, great views.

When I leave feedback, I always start with the positive, because that, is what I choose to remember from the trip . 1. We were very impressed how quick and efficient communication was with the management of the villa (thanks to Floris) Once we found out that the umbrella for the garden was broken, it was replaced next day. All our questions before booking were answered same or at latest next day. 2. Location is beautiful and at the same time convenient. The villa sits on top of the cliffs and right under is a beautiful sandy beach with plenty activities to choose (kayak and SUPs rentals, boat tours and snack bars and cafes). 3. Villa inside was very clean. With plenty towels and wonderful bed linen to go with. As we stayed two weeks, they even cleaned the villa in between once. The cleaning lady was very nice and cleaning was done discreetly and efficient. 4. Villa has everything a couple (we don’t have kinds, so don’t know what they might need) needs to cook and live comfortably for several weeks. Comfy furniture, two bathrooms, wonderful sun beds in the garden. 5. Big and clean pool, which we used daily. Overall it was great stay and we recommend Benagil villas.

Now about things which might be a bit inconvenient. 1. There is no unobstructed ocean view from the garden, as the plant bushes blocking the view when you sit on the terrace. To be fair, from the photos of the place, one can understand that, but still it’s a bit of a bummer. Yes, from the roof the view is divine, but there is no sitting arrangement there. 2. We were very lucky and there were no neighbors from us on both sides (the villas are more town houses, where on both sides there are gardens of neighbors), so it was quite and nobody was picking into our activities. But since there are only a meter high fence between villas, if there would be a family with kids or a group of friends who would do barbecue and chat outside - that would be too loud and disturbing.
