Location was great. The house was clean. The hosts were very responsive.

The hosts had signs everywhere about what to do and what not to do. The walls were very thin, so we could hear all the conversations they were having in their unit. The hosts texted me at 7:26 AM on our departure date asking what time we were leaving. Our check-out was at 11:00 AM. The hosts felt very transactional.

Angela, the host, lives on site in the adjoining property and she was great at being responsive when you needed anything (mostly via text so there was still privacy). So much of what I wanted for my stay was already wonderfully anticipated and I didn't have much to ask for, just general questions. The rain was heavy during my trip and I found that Angela had left a disposable poncho for emergency use! The property itself was charming in its details, well-maintained and well-located. It was a quiet, relaxing residential experience to counter the lively, louder atmosphere of the Quarter. And in the neighborhood, there were several great restaurants and bars where folks were welcoming and laid back.

Good location to activities and restaurants in the area were great

The area didn’t feel really safe. especially at night. And the roads and sidewalks were in poor condition which is understandable considering the storms and damage done to the area

Great location next to crescent park/Mississippi river and restaurant’s all walking distance. As soon as you walk in there was information about the city nicely printed out, magazines and maps as well. The house was very clean and direction also on how to control the appliances. Great for a couples getaway.

Downfall is you do share the property with the owner and feel like they can hear everything you do.

Very quiet and private.
