Cottage was well stocked with everything you would want for a short getaway. Walk to the lake and take out the canoe. Roast marshmallows by the fire- cook, eat , sleep and enjoy the beautiful surroundings.

We had the BEST time! Heatha was very communicative, hospitable, and helpful throughout the whole process. The house has all you need and is comfortable to boot! Can't say enough about this rental and hope to book again :)

Owners have lovingly restored and decorated the cabin. It contain everything you need for a nice comfortable stay. Short walk to the lake. Would have loved to canoe but unfortunately had an algae bloom so not safe. We drove to two nearby state parks and enjoyed great hikes. Lovely area for fall drives.

Heatha's cottage was like new inside and very clean. We also enjoyed the fire pit outside. We would definitely do a return trip. She was quick to respond to our needs and questions.

My husband and I stayed here for a little getaway to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. It was cozy and decorated beautifully and was just what we needed for some quiet time to spend together. They had board games, movies, and puzzles which were great when we got some unexpected rain. The lake is just a 2 min walk away. We loved our stay and definitely recommend it for others. We hope to return in the future.

We where a little skeptical because of how close another rental was and how the outside of the cottage looked but we went for it anyway and loved it. The house was very clean and well organized, notes everywhere letting us know the layout of the cottage and if needed the rental owners info, overall we had a great time and would definitely rent their again

I rented the cottage as a getaway for my wife's 50'th birthday. We loved it. Very clean, no chemically cleaner smells. We instantly were relaxed. Plenty of privacy. Absolutely want to return soon

We had a great time. Used the cottage as a base to sleep and eat while we visited the many places we wanted to see. Paul and Heatha were great. Very quick if we needed anything. Definitely recommend.

Great to chill / hang/ get away from things for a bit. Not as secluded as I imagined but it didn’t bother me one bit. Any people I did run into were super cool! House was super clean and perfect!

Beautiful and very well appointed. The owners have thought of everything. The only drawback for us was the lack of sun around the lot. It’s shaded by the many trees on the property.

Heatha was an incredible host - she was immediately responsive and available. She leaves an incredibly organized book and collection of recommendations for local activities, etc. We were planing to visit during state closures due to COVID and Heatha was in constant contact prior and up to our dates of travel regarding state rules around our travel. The kitchen is nicely stocked. The fire pit was cozy. We spent lots of time on the front porch. We took advantage of the canoe and took a couple of spins around the local lake which is literally 2 houses from this cabin. Great place - cozy but exactly as described and I think cuter than even the photos suggest. thanks so much, Heatha and Paul!

ok, fit my needs

My wife and I had our first extended vacation in years. We made a smart decision renting this gem. Heatha responded to our messages promptly at all times. The cottage is very nicely remodeled and extremely clean. A quiet spot off the beaten trail. It also has a full kitchen. So nice to escape the normal everyday life! It was perfect for the 2 of us for 8 nights. We spent days exploring central NH north to Mount Washington. Also the southern Maine coastline to Hampton, NH. Definitely staying here if we ever go back to visit New Hampshire. Which by the way is absolutely stunning. Thank you Heatha and Paul!

This little place was a great get away for our 27th anniversary.

Heatha's cabin was clean and cozy, and she thought of basically everything including all kinds of board games and movies to watch if you find yourself in the cabin. She has a nice fire pit outside and we used her canoe on Harvey Lake which was really nice. We will definitely stay there again.

We had a great time at the cabin, which was stocked with everything we needed, and very cute! A quick walk down to the beautiful lake, as well.

This property is quaint, affordable, and ideal for a night away from home. Even though the house is fairly small and slightly cramped, my friends and I still enjoyed the stay. The lake was beautiful and enhanced the scenery. The only problems I experienced were the heavily settled location of the property along with the fact that the driveway was small and rocky but other than that my friends and I enjoyed the stay.

We decided to make our first trip to Northern New England to celebrate our 25th Anniversary and this was the perfect place to stay. Clean, cozy, comfortable with everything we needed for a great stay. The cabin served us well for our home base for several side trips such as to the White Mountains for zip-lining, hiking, moose-sighting, etc., to Rye Harbor, NH for whale watching, and to Kennebunkport, ME for an excursion on a lobster boat. However, there was plenty to do right at the house and we enjoyed canoeing on the lake, hiking at the nearby state park, eating and drinking at a great microbrewery right in town, and taking advantage of the fire pit at night. Great place, highly recommended.

Quiet, newly-renovated accommodations. Lots of talking, reading, gaming and hiking. After a 6 mile strenuous hike we welcomed the rain that forced us inside the following day.

The location of this cabin was unbelievable because we wanted to antique and see as many covered bridges as possible. This place was definitely a home away from home!
