The room was so very clean and cute and it had every necessity. It also had a great view of the garden and pool. But i have to adress the amazing person owning the place, he was kind and sweet and welcoming and he will forever stay in our hearts.

The owner is amazing! And the pool is great after a long walk throw the city :)

The bed was not comfortable at all, we could not get a good sleep. I propose the change of the mattress, need to be replaced because very used

Hosts couldn’t do enough for us! Very friendly service from start to finish. Pool was such a nice touch, and it was clean and tidy at all times. Room was spacious and well kept. Taxi into the centre was cheap.

Location was a little far out if you wanted to walk. Best way into the centre of Zagreb was to walk to a tram stop (15 mins) then 20 mins tram ride.

Due to covid and the high season our hotel in Zadar canceled on us. Me and my girlfriend booked a stay at Villa Maria the day after and traveled to Zagreb in the hopes we could spend the night someplace else untill our booking at Villa Maria. Everything was fully booked and we had nowhere to go. So we went to the hotel and arrived at 3 o'clock in the morning. Ivan (the owner) hooked us up with a room and made every effort so we didn't want for anything (by then it was almost 4 o'clock). We booked a room with jacuzzi and sauna. It was very clean and well maintained. With every attention to detail. The garden and swimming pool as well. You can tell Ivan takes much pride in his place. We would definitely recommend a stay at villa Maria. If we're ever in Zagreb this is the place we'll stay. Great value for money!
