It was right next to the beach which was convenient. The apartment was fully stocked with ALL the necessities and more!! It was spacious and helped us feel at home right away.

The location was ideal. Our lanai overlooked the garden with ocean views. While it isn't located steps from the beach, it's a seven minute walk or the office will send someone to take you in a golf cart. They will also bring you back from the beach. It was fully equipped with every beach item as well as kitchen items. There is a small store/cafe near the front office and a shopping center that has a store, coffee shop, etc. just steps away. My husband and I enjoyed the spacious bedroom/bathroom with patio entrance while my adult son slept on the couch and adult daughter slept on the fold away bed. Perfect for us. The second bathroom was a good size and the washer and dryer was a great addition. The beach was huge so it didn't feel crowded. Whalers Village is a cute spot with upscale shops and restaurants. It's a 10 minute walk around the golf course or you can park in the garage and have your ticket validated with purchase. An 8 minute drive takes you to Front Street which has a variety of restaurants, shops, and boutiques. I would stay here again and again!!

The only drawback is that it is located near a busy highway and the traffic can be heard in the front room. In addition, the AC is loud when it kicks in. However, I wouldn't let this be a deterrent. We didn't notice the traffic in the bedroom and the kids said they weren't bothered by the noise. The AC could be distracting but I'd rather have AC and noise than no AC and silence.
