Location was perfect and central. Good value for money. Room was clean.

The room had no windows and you could hear everything and everyone outside.

Could've been cleaner, bed wasn't very comfortable, wifi was pretty bad.

We booked 2 single beds and got a room to ourselves (only 2 single beds in the dormitory room).

It’s a very simple, just the basics hotel. it was relatively clean (bedsheets and towels were clean, bathroom could’ve used a wipe down). the location was nice. hot shower. it’s fine because the location is good and it’s clean enough but don’t expect much.

the management/staff/reception area. DO NOT BOOK ANYTHING with them. there are much better deals elsewhere. also, they’re unorganised. I booked a transport with them and almost wasn’t picked up because they forgot to call the guy. And this is a frequent occurrence for this hotel from what I heard. I guess this place is fine as just a place to sleep if you don’t expect any relevant recommendations or help from the front desk.

very small windows allow little to no fresh-air ventilation of the rooms without opening the door to the corridor. Very hot even with a fan.

Great location and friendly staff.

It was pretty noisy. Even with ear plugs, I struggled to get to sleep. People were talking loudly in the hallway and doors seemed to be constantly slamming. It would be nice if the staff imposed some time of noise curfew.

It’s not luxurious in anyway but for the price and location it was great value.

Very well located near the central park. Everywhere is super clean. A very warm welcome from the owner. I stayed in a dorm room, although I was the only one there. It was spacious and I love that the room had a table and chairs, and hooks and clothes hangers, and fans - and no bunks! Good value.

The location is perfect, right in the La Fortuna Center. The room was clean and comfortable as well as the whole hotel. Above all, the staff was great. My friend and I received the same room though we asked for it last minute. They also gave us many usefull tips, so we could enjoy two days in La Fortuna to its fullest.

In generall, everything was great. Maybe just, it would be good to put a night table and a shelf into the room, i.e. some space where you could put out your stuff.

Great hotel location, in a beautiful city.

There are no such moments, except that I didn't have much time, to live in this good place.

Don't go there!!!!!! You have rooms with no basic human living conditions. They don't have air and oxygen!!! The window go to a fruit shop next to it and other Rooms don't even have a fake windows!!! It's horrible The stuff gave me other room with a window it was terribly noisy from the main street.All my room was shaking from trucks and motorcycles

Great room at a decent price close to the city center. The aircon was definitely a plus. The staff were also very nice and helpful in booking my hotel transfer.

There was no hot water whenever I tried to take a shower, so had to take all my showers with cold water.

Cheap room in the center of La Fortuna. Room had fans, and it’s wasn’t hot at night. Good bathrooms, and a kitchen available downstairs. Wifi was good. I liked hanging out on the balcony, but except that there is no common space to chill and meet people.

The room had tiny window, no lockers or place to put your luggage, so it was always messy with three people staying at the same time. Kitchen is in the basement, usually all the plates are dirty, and fridge was full of old food and didn’t smell nice. Ah, tonns of mosquitoes in the kitchen too. Anyways, I could make some coffee anytime I wanted, and that’s the bonus. It’s ok place for a night or two, if you only come back there to sleep.

no hot water in a room, it came only sometimes for few minutes. maybe you find hot water on the public shower in corridor. extremely ugly kitchen, like in old chinese action movie.

A cockroach in the shower and urine on the side of the toilet that doesn't get cleaned for my whole stay (3 days). The worst thing is the kitchen. It is wet and absolutely disgusting. The dishes are not washed for days, literally nothing is clean. The pots had food in them that moulded. When I wanted to leave to get my bus, I waited and rang the bell multiple times to make my payment and no one was coming. I ran out of time and went to the bus stop. When I stood in the line to enter the bus, the receptionist rushed to me to get the money. Of course this took the possibility of paying with credit card from me which is bad to start with. The fact that the receptionist barely spoke English to understand me and that he did not even have three dollars of change with him was an absolute disgrace. He ran to a store, while I ran out of time because my bus wanted to leave.

The hostel is located right next to a small market and the park which was great to just stroll around or relax. Everything was quite close and can easily be reached by foot. The owner was extremely helpful! I stayed at a shared bedroom which was just fine to stay for the night.
