A localização é ótima!
O restaurante do hotel fica de frente para o vulcão.
Seria bom se tivesse secador de cabelo nos quartos.
E se ao invés de cortina de plástico, tivesse box no banheiro.

Veel mogelijkheden, top plek met uitzicht op de vulkaan. De tocht met de gids Armando is een absolute aanrader als je luiaards, toekans, kikkers etc wilt zien.
Verouderd gebouw en faciliteiten net als de douche. Ook ontbijt hebben we elders veel beter gehad.

La habitación es muy amplia y las camas muy cómodas. Las instalaciones están genial y la ubicación es perfecta.

La peor experiencia que he tenido con una reserva… reservamos el mismo día que era el hospedaje, nos llegó la confirmación por correo y por la aplicación… llegamos 30 minutos antes de que finalizara la hora del check in indicado en la Aplicación de booking; para indicarnos que nos habían cancelado la reserva, que la recepción ya había cerrado y que él ya se iba (nos dijo el muchacho de la recepción) porque me estuvieron llamando para reconfirmar y no contesté (el celular se había descargado) … si uno hace la reserva no debe tener que reconfirmar por otro medio la reserva, más que la politica de cancelación no lo permite de forma gratuita; es decir, llegue o no llegue uno, igualmente le pueden aplicar a uno el cobro, por lo que el hotel no va a perder dinero; por lo que no se justifica el actuar del hotel. Después de un rato de conversar con el de la recepción, y pensar inicialmente que nos estaba molestando, nos damos cuenta por un tercero que está escuchando que es que acaba de vender la habitación a otra persona, si no es que el tercero da marcha tras, nos quedamos sin donde pasar la noche y tener que buscar en la noche donde quedaron. Importante mencionar que el hotel me canceló la reserva únicamente por WhatsApp y no por la aplicación, lo que lo hace a uno suponer que esperaban que no llegáramos para cobrar doble por la habitación… a parte el de la recepción nunca se disculpó, nos habló con un tono molesto y ni si quiera modales como para responder “con gusto” cuando nos esta cobrando y damos las gracias, a pesar de la situación tan fea…

Les parties communes de l'hôtel (piscine, accueil billard, restaurant) sont très agréables.
La vue sur le volcan du resto est top.
Le restaurant vaut vraiment le détour, la meilleure nourriture qu'on ai eu en 25 jours de voyage au Costa Rica, bravo aux chef et prix OK.
La chambre... malheureusement lits pas confortables, très humide et très peu lumineuse.
Pas de déco et lumière très froide.
On était proche du ruisseau ce qui a peut être joué sur l'humidité

Everything! The location was close to town but felt like it was in the middle of the jungle. The staff were lovely. I loved the view over Arenal Volcano from the restaurant. It seemed to be quite clear, very early in the morning at breakfast.The sloth tour with Armando was amazing. I also did 2 night walks to spot frogs with him, and they were great. He has a real passion for wildlife.
There was a bit of noise from other rooms.

Es war super gelegen und dennoch total im Dschungel mit wunderschönem Ausblick direkt auf den Vulkan! Der Mitarbeiter war super freundlich und hat uns alles gezeigt. Man kann abends noch gemütlich in toller Atmosphäre am Pool sitzen. Wir würden wieder kommen.
Es gab nichts auszusetzen.

The hotel is well located, close to the different activities around the volcano and close to la fortuna city center. The staff is attentive and helpful.
It is quite humid and the facilities are basic. I had a room on the ground floor that was quite dark.

Location was great. Close enough to everything but out away from the noise. The pool area is amazing and the tours done by Armando made our experience even better. The breakfast is cheap and delicious with an amazing view of the volcano as you eat breakfast. The room was very large and had everything we needed. Staff were friendly and very helpful and the room was very clean.

The value for this hotel was exceptional! It is in a prime location with a short walk to the shops and restaurants in La Fortuna, the staff were very friendly and showed us around the property before taking us to our room, and the room and beds were comfortable during our stay.
The birds are very active early in the morning around 5am and the walls are thin, so be sure to bring ear plugs if you're a light sleeper.

Absolutely gorgeous property with more improvements in the works. So much wildlife around, including lizards and birds. The pond and the pool are comfortable areas to spend time. Amazing views of Arenal and easily walkable to anywhere in La Fortuna. Comfortable, large, well-equipped rooms and a delicious breakfast available for a good price. Our room was upgraded to one of the large, upper floor rooms in the annex building that had a kitchenette and a direct view of the mountain. Would stay again without hesitation.
The walls were a bit thin and we got unlucky with consistently loud neighbors. Earplugs were a necessity.

The staff was very friendly and helpful, especially when it came to organising tours (I highly recommend the sloth tour with Armando) - they don’t try to sell you anything you don’t need.
Breakfast was great: You can choose between a few options and enjoy it on the terrace while watching all kinds of birds visiting the feeding stations.
There’s a club/discotheque close by - the music was rather loud in the evening. That said, nothing my earplugs couldn’t handle.

At the end of a road, directly at the forest and with an astonishing view on the Vulcan , the lodge is perfectly situated. The breakfast with the dozen of birds and squirrels is a highlight.
Rooms are clean and spacious, beds are comfortable, staff is very friendly and you can book every kind of tours and activities at a reduced price. A very good place to stay at La Fortuna!

Excellent location, fantastic bird and wildlife viewing from the restaurant patio, good included breakfast, well appointed rooms albeit a bit dated. Great coffee. Enjoyed other meals at the restaurant. Excellent tour suggestions, free ice.
Did not jump in the pool, so cannot comment on it. Good common area around it though. We are early risers so breakfast starting at 7 is a bit late for us.

Genialna lokalizacja, niedaleko do centrum La Fortuna, ale pod samym lasem. Fajna restauracja hotelowa z genialnym widokiem na drzewa i egzotyczne ptaki. Uprzejma obsługa.
Niestety hotel jest na terenach podmokłych i w pokojach mocno czuć pleśń. Obsługa udostępniła nam oczyszczacz powietrza ale i tak osoby z alergią na grzyby powinny tego miejsca unikać.

L’hotel è in una posizione meravigliosa! Fare colazione (ottima)con il vulcano sullo sfondo insieme gli uccellini e gli scoiattoli vale il soggiorno! Il personale è gentilissimo, l’hotel offre pure sconti per le attività sul territorio. Ottimo e consigliato!

- Delicious breakfast. The breakfast / dining area has an amazing view. They feed local birds a few metres from where you eat and we we saw so many species (highlight was a toucan!!)
- Huge bedroom with loads of beds (even though we ordered a double, we could have slept 8)

- They have just built a pool with a fountain
- Quiet part of town but only takes 5 minutes to walk to the main road

We had a great stay here. The location is perfect, giving excellent views and a feeling of being immersed in nature, while still being only 5 minutes walk from the town. Our room was big and had everything we expected in it. The best thing about this place are the staff, everyone was so helpful and friendly, they gave us so much advice and booked transport and trips (at a better price than going direct). The sloth tour with Armando was an absolute highlight - we saw 26 sloths! The restaurant is also very good and we enjoyed a nice meal one evening. The breakfast with birds is wonderful.
The beds are slightly hard, but really there was nothing we didn't like here.

Sehr schöne Unterkunft mit perfekter Lage am Rand von La Fortuna. Es ist ruhig und man kann dennoch alles super gut zu Fuß erreichen. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und man kann alle Touren vor Ort buchen. Das Frühstück war ausgezeichnet und wunderbar mit Blick auf den Vulkan

Nous avons apprécié le personnel accueillant, l'appartement spacieux et équipé. La piscine est très jolie, le restaurant avec vue sur le volcan est très appréciable. Le must était de pouvoir observer plein d'oiseaux pendant le petit déjeuner.

It is amazing location right on the edge of town five minutes to the town Square.if you eat breakfast on the property they put out fruit for the all the tropical birds and it’s a show every morning. Beautifully treated property it’s got a pool you feel very comfortable here.
