Room was comfortable and clean, hosts very friendly, full breakfast with plenty of options, location was perfect, close to seafront, town and restaurants. I was able to park on the drive.

Its an excellent place to stay right on the sea front. Kevin greeted us on our arrival and showed us the lovely room. Made us feel very welcome throughout our stay. The room was very clean and well equipped. Slept well in the rear room and we were not disturbed at night. Awesome breakfast was made in the morning for a time that suited us and was served by Karen and Kevin in a perfect accommodating manner. We traveled to Clacton from london on the motorcycle and parked within the property’s front driveway that felt very secure with the cctv system in place. We were seen off by Kevin and he wished us a safe journey home. We felt we had been treated with respect and more.

Was all perfect with nothing to dislike.

My first B&B experience and it did not disappoint! Amazing hosts, delicious food, super clean home, fresh linen and towels. The location is ideal, literally so much to do, see, shop and eat all within walking distance. Lots to do on the Pier and met lovely people. Was lucky enough to catch the fireworks on a Sunday night. I hope to visit again with friends and family some day. Karen is lovely and Kevin is hilarious. Will definitely miss them and their sweet dog Katie.

Made to feel very welcome by Karen, Kevin and Katie (the dog) .Nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was yummy ,plenty of choice n cooked perfectly. I had the single room with shared bathroom but shared with only 1 other room, so no problem there .Everywhere was spotlessly clean. Some nice touches including undiluted squash in the room as well as tea/coffee etc .You're also welcome to bring a takeaway in and use the dining room which also has a microwave and fridge to use .The position of the guest house is fab ,just a very short stroll to the pier and prom Would definitely go back

The location was fine and the breakfasts excellent. The room was clean and cosy and ample for my needs and I was able to put my stuff away. The hosts were very friendly and I had several nice conversations with both.

I had to share a bathroom and toilet but I was informed if that anyway. As I had booked a single room, I have no cause for complaint.

The breakfast was very nice all served quickly and piping hot good sized portions of beans etc without being too much especially liked the toast being an egg on toast fan it was just how I like it and nicely cooked bacon also nothing was too much trouble we were well looked after !

Breakfast was superb, cooked breakfast not greasy and nothing was too much trouble, I couldn't have ate any more if I tried.

Nothing to Dislike, Hosts were lovely and went that extra mile for you, from the little touches of juice and biscuits in your room to the quiet and very clean guest house that are a credit to this husband and wife team.

Very welcoming, hosts always around for a chat or if you needed anything. Super clean and comfortable bedroom we used a shared bathroom which was spotless! Breakfast was freshly cooked to order together with tea/coffee and toast. Perfect!

There wasn't a single thing we didn't like.

The hosts were friendly and attentive. The property itself was a short walk to the Pier and Downtown businesses. The morning breakfast was tasty and filling.

The only complaint we have about the room itself was that the carpeting smelled a bit musty. Clacton-On-Sea is in dire need of a facelift. The pier area and first block of the business district are in good order. However, from the main plaza all the way to the train station, the streetscape is in very poor condition. It needs new pavement, landscaping, street furniture, quality street lighting, consistency in signage, etc. The businesses are fully occupied as is the town itself. There's tons of beautiful period buildings throughout. It just seems like it lacks leadership from a governmental level to cultivate it.

Very well maintained B&B. Very good breakfast. Friendly and helpful owners. Recommended!!
